It's good to know that you can get a team ready to start making good progress as there is a large pool of resources.
BEON.tech provided the resources that the client needed to fully develop the app. Reaching over 20,000 downloads and still continuously growing, the product is exactly how the client envisioned it to be. The team was organized and strategic throughout the engagement. I'm the Regional Director of Business Development at Zetech S.A., the company behind TuRecibo.com, the most complete portal for the dispatch of all processes in the Human Resources area, especially the digitalization of payslips. We tried to build the native apps to let our users access their payslip in a digitalized way, and we struggled to find the right resources for the project. As soon as BEON jumped in, things started to progress smoothly, helping us to achieve a key milestone for our business. It was a friend of ours that made the referral. BEON provided the resources and management to build our Android and iOS apps. Our backend was already in place, so they seamlessly interfaced with our team to make use of our APIs to bring this product to life. BEON provided a project manager and a Senior mobile developer that knew both Android and iOS, making it super flexible and easy to work with. Everyone in our team was pleased to work with the different resources BEON provided along the way. Our app reached over 20.000 installs, and that number is consistently growing. They helped us take the app in the direction we strategically needed and recently came back to them with new plans of building a new native app, embedding part of our web features in it. BEON provided a project manager who oversaw everything and helped us with specs and planning, implementing SCRUM when we needed it. It's good to know that there's a role involved in the project that helps us cross the technical bridge. Sometimes it's hard to understand the technical language, so having a good communicator always increases the throughput and quality of the work. We really liked how this was structured. They find outstanding talent in Latin America, and you can tell that on the first days of work. We got different resources assigned, and each of them was amazing to work with. It's good to know that you can get a team ready to start making good progress as there is a large pool of resources, and it's hard to be able to find this type of talent. Areas of improvement: Not out of the top of my head. Everyone was pleased to work with them. -
They were helpful, responsive at all times, and exceeded the expectations.
BEON built the app with the required functionality in a timely manner. They were diligent in testing and validating the accuracy of the app, and they communicated well. Their commitment and ownership of the project were impressive. We required customization of a subscription back-end to accommodate a 30-day free trial offer. A former colleague referred me to BEON. We use a Shopify template for our website, with a subscription app provided by Bold Commerce. The subscription app does not have the capability of offering a free trial, but BEON was able to build a custom workaround to sequence the customer order sequencing in alignment with the terms of our free trial offer. Two engineers, one in a project coordinator function, and the other performing the actual development work. BEON delivered the required functionality in a timely manner, and were diligent in testing and validating the accuracy of the functionality. They were helpful, responsive at all times, and exceeded the expectations. I fully expect to engage BEON in future projects. We communicated by phone and (primarily) email. BEON communicated well, keeping me in the loop at all times in terms of progress and timing. BEON impressed me with their commitment to and ownership of the project, as though they were partnering with me to find the best solution, versus just delivering the minimum functionality. I was very pleased with my entire experience of BEON, and expect to engage them again on future projects. -
They have been a pleasure to work with.
BEON has provided highly-qualified candidates for the client. Although their service is entirely remote, they haven't been encountering any problems with time. These candidates have also been taking feedback well, incorporating it into their screening with proactiveness. I'm the CTO of a tech-enabled small business lender. We lend $150k-$3M USD, usually on a revenue-based finance model, to growing tech/SaaS businesses in the US, Canada, and Australia. We were looking to expand our multinational engineering team to support our existing business as well as growth both internal and into adjacent product offerings. I have worked (and continue to work) with multiple agencies, representing resources from many different geographical regions. I receive multiple inquiries (a day) from agencies offering everything from "digital transformation" to project-based work to contract recruiting (not to mention "fixing yur websight" (sic)). I liked BEON's straight-forward offering, as I was really only looking for staff augmentation in price-competitive regions (Seattle is quite expensive). Not exactly applicable, since we hired engineers for multiple projects on a staff augmentation basis, not for a specific project. Our project range from maintenance and upgrades of existing systems to building new systems from the ground up. They are all related to providing web-based systems for both internal and external customers of our lending business. We provided job descriptions (two different ones so far, with a third coming soon). BEON provided candidates. I reviewed and provided feedback. BEON continued to provide increasingly relevant candidates. I interviewed a few, had my team review a couple of those. We view these engineers as first-class team members, just like directly-employed engineers, or those provided via other agencies. therefore there is now "workflow between your team and theirs". We are completely remote, and so far no two engineering team members live within a couple hundred miles/kilometers of each other, so there is no disadvantage in terms of geography or timezone. They provide highly-qualified candidates, take feedback and quickly incorporate it into their screening, and are proactive about communication in general. They have been a pleasure to work with. No issues. -
The project was delivered on time and relatively bug-free by the engineer.
BEON delivered everything on time and bug-free, thanks to their proactive check-ins and reviews. They provided an engineering-led process with clear communication and honesty in business. Overall, they had a good service. We hired a contract through BEON for a complex tax calculation project, as well as a supporting role on an internal tool project. Engineer led and good clear communication. We evaluated and integrated 3rd party software APIs, and built custom logic to handle our unique use case to deliver a taxation feature on our marketplace. Both front-end and back-end technologies were employed. Just one engineer from BEON, plus occasional PM. The project was delivered on time and relatively bug-free by the engineer. Good proactive check-ins and reviews. Engineering led, clear communication and honest in business. So far so good! -
We’re impressed by their sourcing process.
BEON.tech has been able to work well with the client's team. They're also knowledgeable about the client's platform and are able to work at the same pace as the client's software engineers. Above all, they're an excellent match for the client's team culture and skillset. I’m the VP of software engineering, and we’re a software company that provides software for arts and cultural organizations in predominantly English-speaking countries around the world. The company is fully distributed so we all work remotely. We were trying to augment our software engineering team with developers. We had an initial call where we talked about our needs and what projects we were working on. We also described the skillset of the engineers that we needed. From there, BEON sourced engineers. They screened them technically, too. On top of that, we had an opportunity to do a technical screening and a team interview with them. From there, they made hires based on our recommendations. Two software engineers are currently working with us, and they use C#, .NET, and Angular. We received a cold call from them, and they just happened to reach out at a time when we were looking to step up. We also evaluated them against a few other firms and decided to try an engagement with them. We’ve spent around $60,000. We began our partnership in May 2021, and we continue to collaborate. We measure their success based on their ability to integrate with the team. In that regard, they’ve integrated themselves really well. In fact, they’re able to pick up and participate in any project that’s part of the broader software development initiative. They’ve also adopted domain knowledge of our platform, and they’re completing work at the same rate as our software engineers. They’ve been great from a project management standpoint. We use Jira as our project management tool, and we communicate through Zoom. We’re impressed by their sourcing process and the way that they’ve been able to communicate possible candidates for our team and the way they let us vet them. They’ve been very collaborative in that process — helping us find engineers that are really a good match for our team culture and skillset. Be really clear about what you’re looking for so they can find somebody who’s a good match. You need to know exactly the type of engineer and the personalities that you’re looking to bring out of the team so that they can do their job well. -
BEON.tech has been extremely professional, and their development work has been fantastic.
Thanks to BEON.tech’s resource, the client has been able to launch new features that end customers have praised. The resource is responsive, proactive, timely, and collaborative through Jira and GitHub, and they deliver quality work. Additionally, BEON.tech’s care for their employees is outstanding. I’m a department manager at a software company in the financial and energy industries. We primarily develop software for oil and gas reserve companies. We needed help with staff augmentation. BEON.tech provides us with a developer specialist in data engineering who follows our internal software development practices. He mostly works on software we have already developed, making enhancements to it. Still, he has also worked on some tasks completely from scratch. As for the technology stack, most of our work has been done in TypeScript and C#, and he has done some backend API work as well. Although BEON.tech’s resource mostly focuses on development work, he has also provided us with input and ideas for software architecture. Additionally, he has free reign to design and architect his own solutions. I work directly with the one resource that BEON.tech provides us with. They also provide us with more resources for other areas, but I don’t interact with them. In total, we work with around five people from their team. These resources include developers and 1–2 UI/UX designers. Our VP of software had a previous relationship with BEON.tech, so he contacted them when he started working for our company. I’m unsure about BEON.tech standard rates because I’m not in charge of paying invoices. I estimate that we’ve spent between $50,000–$200,000 in total. I started working with the data engineer from BEON.tech by the end of April 2022, and our engagement is ongoing. However, their other resources might have started working for us before that. The resource that BEON.tech provide us with is very good. Thanks to him, we’ve been able to add new functionality to our API, and our clients are very excited about the enhancements we’ve done. As general feedback, the developer and the person who manages him from BEON.tech’s side have been great to work with. Moreover, the quality of their development work has been fantastic. BEON.tech’s resource has been very responsive, and he has delivered on time. We’re very open to their suggestions as well. We communicate via Slack with the developer and via email with the BEON.tech management team. We also send the developer tasks through Jira and check his work through GitHub. BEON.tech seems to really care about their employees. One time, I found out that our developer didn’t have an extra monitor, and he was working only with their laptop screen. Thus, I contacted his manager from BEON.tech and asked if they could provide him with a monitor, and they immediately took care of it. I can’t think of anything they could improve on. BEON.tech has been extremely professional, and their development work has been fantastic. They’re an excellent company to work with — we’ll continue to work with them moving forward. -
We like their positive attitude and high level of collaboration of the staff in a rapidly changing startup.
BEON.tech fit perfectly well into the client's agile sprint environment. They have shown a positive attitude and a high level of collaboration in a rapidly changing startup. They also quickly learn new technologies, which the client enjoys to see. BEON has helped us find talented software engineers to work with on a flex basis as our software development roadmap has expanded, to augment our in-house staff in a challenging hiring environment. BEON was recommended to us by an investor who leveraged them for a prior company's development work. They were impressed with the quality of work, and the product spoke for itself, which made the decision quite easy. The developers in this staff augmentation have been an embedded part of the core development team, and participate in sprints. They are skilled in Golang, AWS, Google Cloud, and Javascript. As many as two senior developers have been with the team for now. Beon's team members are flexible. They fit perfectly within our agile sprint environment, and do a great job of collaborating within our Slack/Zoom/Github/Asana context. We like their positive attitude and high level of collaboration of the staff in a rapidly changing startup. They combined this with their ability to quickly learn new technologies has been great to witness. No concerns from our end. -
They are committed to making sure the work is done timely and with quality workmanship.
So far, BEON.Tech has been delivering exactly what's needed. What's most impressive about the team is their strong adherence to producing quality and timely work. They also hold daily stand-up meetings, ensuring both sides are always updated on the project's progress. The BEON team has help expand our platform experience for both our patients and providers. We are currently building our next generation platform in which BEON plays a critical role in. The BEON team is the most experienced team that we reviewed and their professionalism match their capabilities. This work is ongoing with and consist of work within PHP, Redis, React and Python. 5 contractors full time within the development team. The team has produced great work thus far and have met the timelines of these projects. We do daily stand ups . Jiri and Slack are tolls that are used everyday for communication. They are committed to making sure the work is done timely and with quality workmanship. -
They do a great job sourcing quality candidates.
BEON.tech's work has met expectations across the board. Customers can expect a thorough team that gets the job done. They also kept a hands-off workflow, which could be good for startups. BEON sourced and hired an engineer for us. This talented resource works for us 40 hours a week and is managed through BEON, which takes the responsibility of operating in a foreign country out of the equation. We used a variety of sourcing tactics and BEON delivered the highest quality the fastest. We needed a back end engineer to help take our product development forward. We discussed our needs with an account manager, reviewed resumes they sent to us, and interviewed the candidates that we thought were a great fit for Trend based on their skills. We hired one engineer through BEON and each time that we need to source more engineers, we go through BEON. We currently only have 1 resource through them but are open to hiring others through BEON. The workflow is pretty hands off which is appreciated as a startup. Simple comms through Slack connect. Mostly async work. They do a great job sourcing quality candidates. -
They have great talent.
Though the development is still ongoing, the client has been very pleased with BEON.tech so far. The team leads a collaborative workflow, providing regular updates and feedback. They also make it a point to keep the client's team involved at every stage of the process. We needed their help with building out our angular upgrade. Interviewed many companies but they were by far the best to work with in the process. They have been great so far. We are about 70% Done with the project. Very involved and ask for feedback. They have great talent. -
They understood our needs, provided quality talent quickly, and were very easy to work with.
Thanks to BEON.tech's work, the company met their deadlines and gained confidence in their deliverables' quality. The team's workflow was impressive; they worked as part of the client's internal staff, collaborating with the firm's managers and members. Overall, the project was a success. We were looking to augment our QA staff as a rapidly growing start up. We hired BEON to support our testing efforts. BEON employees are professional, friendly, and seasoned in QA. They were and continue to be a pleasure to work with and have provided excellent talent that have helped us deliver our work. Their team was responsible for creating and executing test plans manually. Some individuals also contributed to creating automated tests. We worked directly with 2 manual testers and 2 SDET's. We were able to meet all deadlines and have confidence in the quality of our deliverables. BEON employees were part of our teams just like our own full time employees. They worked along side product managers, software engineers, and other QA engineers and SDET's seamlessly. They understood our needs, provided quality talent quickly, and were very easy to work with. -
Their senior staff was very attentive to our needs.
BEON.Tech successfully executed their tasks, leading to the project's success. The hands-on team participated in stand-ups and worked efficiently throughout. The team's professionalism and attentiveness to the client's needs made them stand out from competitors. We needed a react.js developer to supplement our staff on an internal project. We had several good interviews with their senior leadership. The project was a refactor of an existing internal application built on firebase and react.js. We did a ground up re-write in Typescript and the developer was part of the front end team. We contacted Beon and sent them a job description tailored to the project. They presented us with candidates which we interviewed and we selected one. Overall the project was successful. We completed our goal of getting the Typescript refactor complete. It was mostly effective. The developer participated in stand ups and worked within out existing GIT system. Their senior staff was very attentive to our needs. There were some communication issues between us, Beon and the developer. He would inform us of days off we had scheduled with Beon before clearing them with us. This resulted in a few lost days of work that we were not expecting. -
It has been a successful engagement, and both the developers are still working with us.
Someone who worked with BEON.tech previously on our team recommended them as a group with strong development experience with Ruby on Rails and React. They provided 2 software developers to work on various features and enhancements to our web products. The skills required were Ruby on Rails and React We had a call with their founder who shared their vision and mission and I got a lot of confidence in their ability to identify and match us with developers who would be a good fit on our team. It has been a successful engagement, and both the developers are still working with us. Workflow is straightforward. They developers are virtually embeded on our team and participate in all Sprint ceremonies. BEON priorities the relationship management so that we feel like they are our partners. -
The engineers are good people. They're easy to work with.
We have relied on BEON.tech to provide software programmers to help with our accelerated software development schedule. The engineers work in our team, on tasks defined collaboratively. Project has been organized to follow agile practice. Delivery at the end of every sprint. Engineers are briefed through kickoffs, and progress is tracked through brief daily meetings. We do the project management. Our project is still on-going. The engineers work well with others. We manage the project and resources directly. Communication is done through the usual tools: Slack, email, Jira, Confluence. Source is managed on Github. The engineers are good people. They're easy to work with. -
It’s almost like they’re a part of the internal team.
The successful delivery of the platform has delivered tangible improvements in customer experience thanks to the advanced booking feature. BEON worked to understand the business case and customer experience. Their accountable approach helped them adhere to a tight schedule. They built our website, CMS, CRM, and booking capability. They took it from idea to transaction capability in a manner of a few months. It’s a web-based platform, but it accepts mobile bookings as well. I did some outsourcing on some logo development, but they contributed as well. They created wireframes and scoped out UI/UX, user path and experience, and how many different web pages we would go through. They also did everything in terms of the original graphic interface. I sketched out some designs, but they took the idea and came back with a full UI/UX deployment. We did everything in a LAMP stack. They came up with an inventory management system as a way for us to allow our partners to create inventory, list that inventory, allow for scheduling of when that inventory is available, and differentiate pricing based on time frames and dates. It also allows for the ability to change and amend pricing at a moment’s notice. From a consumer side, it allows a customer to search and book available parking inventory from a number of different locations. It allows them to go through and see pricing and availability, and it offers segmenting for different types of vehicles. They managed all that inventory and managed a full CRM system. The system includes customer data such as name, address, license plate number, email, and communications between our company and the customer, as well as our company and the inventory provider. They integrated processing and booking capabilities such as credit card processing, billing receipts, transaction data, etc. It’s a fully comprehensive system and multi-device capable in a way that has allowed us to continue forward. They also created an initial set of mobile apps, which we opted not to use later for business reasons, not due to any issue with them. I interacted with their two principals at least once every two days. I frequently interfaced with a developer, and their graphic designer also worked on the project. They were strongly referred by a longtime friend of mine who was a CTO at a couple of companies. He had used them in the past and was happy with their work. After a series of interviews, I knew they were the right fit for the role. We joke that it’s the 100-day platform because they did everything in about 100 days. We’ve been able to provide real-time inventory to what is typically a very chaotic experience. Their work has allowed customers to plan ahead and know where to park at an event with multiple lots at multiple prices. It was a real benefit for customers as well as a real benefit to parking lot operators because they were able to plan their inventory and manage against that. One interesting use case was that one of the specific venues we service is at a race track. A lot of the patrons have special needs or handicap parking, and they appreciated being able to reserve a parking space in an area that allowed them to access the facility easily. They delivered according to requirements on a tight schedule. They’ve been very open in terms of communication. I can always get in touch with them when I need to. They also were very responsive when we launched the platform. They were quick to fix any bugs that arose. It’s almost like they’re a part of the internal team. They’ve always been very professional in that regard. They have the ability to drill down and really understand the use case and the desired result. They weren’t there to arbitrarily throw tech at us. They really wanted to understand the business case and the customer experience before they made any recommendations on the platform. They were well-versed in multi-modal formats. They don’t specialize in mobile or specialize in online applications—they do it all. The fact that they were able to come at that from a comprehensive and experiential standpoint is what made a big difference. -
Everything works smoothly with them.
BEON has been delivering quality work in a timely manner, which has made this an excellent experience for the client. Their great link with the developers is key to great project management. The client praises the professional coding and involvement in the project from the vendor. They’re developing s a mobile app for both Android and iOS. Also, we are now updating our app every couple of months, and they are also in charge of that. We work directly with 2–3 people from their team. They were referred to us. We reached out, and they made a proposal that was simple but good. We liked it and started collaborating with them. We’ve spent about $40,000 with them so far. We started working with them in February 2021, and the engagement is ongoing. They allowed us to have the first version of our app and did it quickly — it’s already available to download online. We’ve been having a great experience with them. Having a project manager assigned is great and useful. The link between our requirements and the developers has made it an easy partnership — everything works smoothly. They’re great at delivering the code very quickly and having concrete deliverables in record time so we could move forward with the project at a good pace. Also, we had to make some changes on the team, and they allowed us to participate in the hiring process of a new developer, which was great. They could offer UX services — that would be useful. -
BEON helps translate our vision into firm requirements and then execute on them with minimal rework needed.
The client was able to land sizable customers thanks to BEON’s added functionality. The team delivers code to meet the client’s requirements and expected quality level in 1–2 sprints. Expect a team that commits to deadlines and offers strong development and project management skills. We were working with another outsourced development agency that was developing too slowly for us. BEON stepped in and got us the right kind of development process for our company’s stage and corporate growth. BEON works for us on a time and material basis. They provided development resources at first, but that grew into project engineering with support to product management. They also supply QA resources and UI/UX expertise. They develop in the Angular framework, Goa, and Golang for the backend. We work with seven people. We considered other companies with good references. BEON came to us through a successful entrepreneur that has launched several startups that have made it to a positive exit. We currently pay about 1$5,000–$20,000 per month. That rate’s increased since we first started, and I expect it will go up to $40,000–$50,000 per month as we continue to work together. I estimate we’ve spent about $175,000–$200,000 on their services since the start. We made introductions in December 2018 and started development in January or February 2019. We have a very large customer that’s come in because of the functionality BEON helped us develop. We’re also pursuing an even larger customer because of their help. BEON helps translate our vision into firm requirements and then execute on them with minimal rework needed, whether that’s due to bugginess in stack or an incomplete scope. We usually nail everything within 1–2 sprints. They’re always punctual and willing to stretch to meet their commitments. If BEON is falling behind because a sprint had a larger scope than we expected, they’ll push and work overtime in order to meet the full commitment. They also do very well in leverage the philosophy of story points in order to create realistic scopes of work that are not full of fat or cushion. They still can get pretty ambitious but tend to meet them by executing efficiently or stretching to meet it. I appreciate the commitment they show as a team along with the full range of services they provide. The strength of their project management is also a supplement to higher-level management functions in a startup. The stability of the team is excellent. We’ve had the same developers for the whole time we’ve worked with them. -
They executed what we needed.
Thanks to BEON's development efforts, an impressive mobile app that met the client's expectations was generated. They maximized their expertise and utilized efficient communication channels, resulting in fast turnaround times. The client lauded their team for being supportive. We hired BEON to develop our MVP. Since we didn’t have the in-house capabilities to create our mobile app, BEON helped us from the brainstorming stage up to the product implementation stage. It was us who defined the scope, and their team sped up the process after the first ticket. We started by putting our designs together and sending these to them for review. After that, they collated our ideas and created the final prototype. We had a freelancer who worked on the actual design of the MVP, but we still needed BEON’s expertise to review the design and make suggestions when it was necessary. They then proceeded to develop an Android and iOS-enabled app, our startup’s MVP. We mainly worked with Damian (Co-Founder), a Project Manager, and two app developers. Additionally, their design team assisted us in reviewing our freelancer’s work. One of our mentors introduced BEON to us during an incubation program at Colgate University. We spoke with a few other companies, but their team really stood out. We decided to work with them because their services were reasonably priced, and they had a great working culture. We spent about $60,000–$70,000 in total. Over the course of the project, we paid their developers $6,500 per month. The project ran from September 2020–March 2021. BEON built the app according to our preferences — their performance met our company’s expectations. Since they executed what we needed, the members of our internal team, including my co-founder, were simply impressed. The product worked well and there weren’t a lot of issues to fix before its release. The communication was fantastic. We mainly used Slack to reach out to their team. BEON’s turnaround time was generally good, and they were helpful in speeding up the entire development process. Su Veng was an effective project manager — he worked as one of our team members. He was really sharp, and he responded promptly whenever there were areas that we needed them to fix. We were a startup with sparse members, and this was really our first attempt at creating our own product. BEON shared their expertise and experiences with us — they simply guided us throughout this project. We thought it was unique and exemplary for a company to go above and beyond just to help beginners like us. -
What I like about BEON is that they hire interesting, talented, and thoughtful developers.
The resources provided by BEON deliver high-quality development work, offer valuable insights, and integrate well with the client’s mission. The ongoing partnership—set to scale soon—is marked by timeliness, close communication, and agile workstyles. When I need a developer, they will hire one, and manage them against the project. We have a monthly fee, and we provide tools like Jira, hosting, and everything else. They’re working on our core platform, a “submit one, publish everywhere” service that is desktop-based and hosted on AWS. It has over 4,600 event listing sites and calendars that sit within an algorithm. When someone submits an event to our site or to a calendar—which we host with news, radio, and TV stations globally—the algorithm looks at which event listing sites will want that content, so that we can publish it. Aside from that service, the tech has to do a ton of other things involving payment and transactions through Stripe. We’re trying to make a one-stop-shop for event creators and publishers—our major stakeholders. They need dedicated interfaces with multiple tools and features to promote and publish events, including syndication, email, SMS, messaging, calendars, content widgets, add-event URLs, an editorial CMS, and a sales CRM. BEON has been involved in a variety of tasks. They’re building out functionality to manage payments, billing, and invoices via Stripe transactions and Xero. We just finished migrating the primary task of developing our event creator and publisher environment. Technically, BEON is running the full stack. We’ve spent a lot of time training the developers and building practical technology. For each task, we provide wireframes and technical documentation alongside one of their testers. My goal for next year is to gear up the team size and move to a more advanced SaaS platform that uses AI for automated campaign creation. We want to replicate the kind of service you’d get from a major marketing agency, but at an affordable price point in the local market, for a local event. There’s a lot of pieces to our tech roadmap, ranging from very basic invoicing needs, through to product requirements. Their organization provides me with a project manager, a tester, and a full-time developer. They’re the core of our development, project management, testing, and design. I aim to get 5–6 developers from them. We were relocating our business from London to the US. Our development resource at the time was in Poland, and the time zone difference wasn’t working for us. We were looking to find a resource in the US time zone that was still cost-effective. Buenos Aires was a good time zone and as affordable as Europe. That’s how we came across BEON. We started working with BEON Tech Studio in April 2019, and they’re still our full-time remote development team. Just as we started with BEON, we took a different approach to development, going from a two-week development cycle to releasing code twice a week, It’s an incredibly agile approach. We also moved the methodology to Kanban, which supported this constant release methodology. Through BEON, we get developers to develop code, and a lead tester to test it. When it works well, we can release lots of code very quickly. The testing doesn’t slow us down at all. Overall, we’re churning out more code, allocating more projects, and progressing development at a faster speed. We have three times the code output today than when we had another 2–2.5 developers on the project. BEON plays a role in that, and so does our new methodology. The tester was also a critical part of our ability to output development. We’ve launched more projects and improved the technology more in the last 10 months than within the whole of last year. As the CEO, I spend one hour every week doing training with a developer. That’s very unusual, but this way, they get to ask questions as we’re building their understanding of the platform. I believe that the team at BEON has bought into the purpose of our development. Because of that and their fluency in English, I can have a solid conversation with them about what we’re doing, and they will advise me on better ways of doing it. We have an unusual and exceptional relationship with the development team they’ve provided so far. What I like about BEON is that they hire interesting, talented, and thoughtful developers. They contribute back to the plan, as opposed to just coding. That’s very valuable. -
They went out of their way to find solutions that would improve our product.
BEON transformed the basic MVP into a groundbreaking app with a ton of innovative features. They used their phenomenal skills and infinite resources to deliver cutting-edge AI technology, which would be nearly impossible to find elsewhere. Another developer had already built an MVP app for us, but we decided to go with BEON to make the full product. They expanded on our existing AI algorithm and conducted QA tests to verify that everything was working on the backend. In addition to adding the finishing touches, they were responsible for ongoing maintenance. In the beginning, we worked with about four people within their organization. Now that they have completed the project, they have one person assisting us with maintenance. One of our advisors had success with BEON in the past, so they referred us to them. That glowing recommendation, as well as their experience and affordable pricing, was the reason behind our hiring decision. We would not have been able to build a web app with cutting-edge AI technology without BEON’s skills and resources. Having the matchmaking tool has been extremely beneficial for our business and sales. They were very responsive to our needs, even though we are based in different parts of the world. Trello was our technology of choice for communicating and sending files, but we occasionally used Skype and Google Hangouts to video chat. We got a sense that they were genuinely interested in our project, because they went out of their way to find solutions that would improve our product. -
They're great communicators and really talented builders.
BEON has delivered a system that performs much more seamlessly and efficiently that the previous one, allowing the client to demo it more confidently and obtain more business than before. The coordinated team showcases exceptional communication skills and excels at project management. We already had a rough prototype of our software with a different developer partner. We were already testing it in offices, but there were still a lot of things we wanted to change. We hired BEON to build the second version of our software from scratch. They helped us do everything involved with creating the new version of the platform, including backend, database, and design work. We found BEON through online research. We’ve worked with two project managers and three full-time developers from BEON. We’ve spent around $180,000–$200,000 so far. We started working together in October 2018, and the engagement is ongoing. We’re currently preparing to deploy the new version of our software to medical offices, so we still don’t have any metrics or user feedback just yet. However, we can now demo the system more confidently as it performs more seamlessly and efficiently compared to our previous one. Before working with BEON, we only had one large client. Now, we have two new large clients, and we’ve noticed growing interest from many prospective clients. So I’d say that the biggest measure of success has been the opportunity for us to get more clients faster than before. BEON has performed outstandingly well in terms of project management. They’re really great at communicating — I’d say it’s one of the biggest differences that I’ve noticed in working with them versus other third-party providers. The second we reach out about something, there's an immediate response from them. We communicate every day, and we have a very robust back and forth on our Slack channel. Overall, they’re a very well-functioning team. They make everything really simple, and we don't need to devote a tremendous amount of manpower for oversight and management because they handle a lot of that stuff really well. We primarily communicate with them through Slack, and we also have regular stand-up meetings and planning sessions every week. One of the main reasons why we chose BEON was because they really devoted a lot of energy into finding the best developers for our project. I know this based on the quality of the product that they’ve produced. It’s hard to describe without a demo, but what they have built runs so much more beautifully and elegantly than our previous system. We feel like have a product built as if we're a billion-dollar company, and I feel like they deserve a lot of the credit for that because I can’t imagine that we could get the same caliber of product with another company. Even as we grow, my preference will be to handle our development through BEON as opposed to even an in-house option because the quality of their developers is really extraordinary. They're great communicators and really talented builders. It's probably going to be a long time until that until we decide to hire in-house just because we've had so much success with BEON. -
They’ve always taken pride and ownership in what they put forward.
BEON.tech works hard to perform above project expectations. Their efforts to improve the platform have resulted in an increased conversion rate. They provide valuable insights relating to customer engagement and user retention. They’re a communicative and organized team of professionals. Our original Magento platform had a lot of problems and limited customization options. We brought in BEON to build out our proprietary e-commerce system. BEON took over the whole project, rebuilt the platform from scratch, and improved our customer’s shopping experience. They developed our website using the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) architecture stack. We’ve since redone the frontend with AngularJS and created customer dashboards within the platform. It hosts all our products and third-party integrations. They’ve been our partners for the last three years. Except for an internal CTO, BEON is our entire technology team. We have no engineers or QA internally, so it’s all managed by them. Luckily, they’ve been able to accommodate our needs by assigning the proper resources. We work with 3–8 people depending on the project’s requirements. We’ve spent above $200,000. -
They provide high-quality customer service and are trustworthy.
Despite being early in their partnership together, the internal staff is already impressed with the team’s ability to source and offer talent on accelerated timelines. The resource has all the required skills needed to successfully contribute to the larger project. They collaborate seamlessly. I was looking for a React Native developer and mobile engineering expertise. They provided me with an engineer as a staff augmentation service. They provided the engineering resource to our team, making sure that the individual was the right resource for our company before passing them to us. Once the engineer was selected, they integrated into the team pretty simply. They joined our Slack channel and project management tools. That person functioned as my employee for this project. I found them on Clutch. After reaching out to hear more about their services and pricing, they seemed like a good fit. I’ve spent about $13,000 on their services so far. The project began in February 2020 and is ongoing. They provide high-quality customer service and are trustworthy. I knew I could count on them. -
We’re happy with BEON Tech Studio’s output and productivity.
The platform is functional and performs a wide range of functions well. Enhanced revenue is expected in the short-term. BEON.tech’s creativity, productivity, and acumen exceed expectations. The team’s versatile skill set and ability to scale have enhanced the partnership. Our website was functional and included a quote request feature, but did not have pricing information on it. We hired BEON.tech to convert our site into a platform by developing a price matrix and functionalities for PDF review and feedback. BEON.tech designed and developed the platform. They implemented our requested functionalities. The team includes a project manager, developers, and designers. One of my former mentors at a marketing services company recommended BEON.tech. He’s selective with referrals, but mentioned their team because they could accommodate my needs. I then had a long conversation with Damian (Co-Founder, BEON.tech) about my business; I got the sense he had a comprehensive development approach. His team had a flexible working model, which I quickly felt comfortable with. We’ve spent between $130,000–$150,000. We started working them in July 2018 and the partnership is ongoing. We’re happy with BEON.tech’s output and productivity. The team stays on top of their work and provides timely warnings if they may not hit a deadline. We have 2–3 calls per week and use Trello to track progress. Although the team doesn’t have deep insight into our industry, they created designs that matched our vision for the platform and the customer experience. Their ideation and execution exceeded our expectations. They think not just in terms of features, but also technology, productivity, efficiency, and ease of use. What’s more, the team has a versatile range of skills. They allocate resources as needed for each phase. Initially, I thought that their pricing was a bit high, but they’ve been flexible with cost. -
I’ve worked with tech startups for 20 years, and I wouldn’t do any projects without BEON.tech.
BEON.tech is a wonderful team that does high-quality work. They take time to learn the project and understand goals and concerns. They maintain open communication and resources to optimize the relationship. We do marketing, fulfillment, shipping logistics, and inventory control internally, so BEON needed to create a platform that let us do that easily and efficiently. I provided creative direction, and they developed and designed the website, landing page, and other platform components using a MEAN stack. They also set up our tracking and analytics, including the subscription piece of our service that rebills anyone on their anniversary. Through the platform, we can print labels and add and issue shipments. We have about four full-time developers and a designer who comes on as needed. I met BEON.tech’s founder when he worked at a different development company. He did good work, so when he reached out to me about his new company, I hired them. I’ve worked with tech startups for 20 years, and I wouldn’t do any projects without BEON. They’re consistent and do high-quality work. Your partnership will work the best if they integrate themselves with your team and aren’t siloed off. -
They’re impressive people, and everything has been going smoothly so far.
The final full-service website is undergoing QA and will be available to users soon, who are providing positive feedback on the applications’ services. The team was dedicated and professional throughout the process, quickly understanding and then implementing the user needs and requirements. I needed a smart and capable development team that could understand my vision and build a prototype to get it out into the marketplace as soon as possible. That included both the web platform and the Android and iOS applications. They’re my development team, with the work ongoing. They’ve built both our iOS and Android apps as well as the website and the full backend stack, including the full database architecture and everything else. I designed the application, so I work in conjunction with them to make those designs a reality. They amplify them and make them better. I have a project manager and direct access to both of the founders of the company. I work with the developers who do everything from design to front- and backend development. A good friend of mine introduced me to Damian (Co-Founder, BEON Tech Studio) and Michel (Co-Founder, BEON Tech Studio). I had looked at many different companies and decided that BEON was the way to go. Members of the military and veterans have never had a marketplace that was built just for them, that worked globally and was connected to their geolocation. This platform now allows them to make secure transactions within the community. We’ve had a lot of great support from our customers, and BEON were able to build the platform in a great, efficient way that became really user-friendly. The most impressive was their ability to quickly understand what my customers want and then integrate, build it, QA, and get it to market. The speed has been amazing. It’s been a great relationship and I have nothing but good things to say. -
They’re incredibly efficient at capturing data, incorporating it into the process, and resolving all issues.
The feedback from the app has been very positive thus far and it already has sales on the Apple App Store. The team at BEON.tech is incredibly organized, communicative, timely, and efficient, quickly resolving all issues and grasping the company's vision. We initially connected with Damian (Co-Founder) who served as our entry point. We ended up working with a manager named Julian (Project Manager) and a graphic designer. We didn’t know much about app development, so we went with the recommendation of a friend who said they did a great job. We reached out to them after that recommendation and reading their website. We began in June 2020 and the bulk of the project is done, although we retain access to them for critical local issues. We’ll revisit the app when we get a month’s worth of work that fills it up, but for now, it’s completed. The feedback thus far has been very positive. We’ve already sold more than 100 copies of the app, primarily at Apple. Android has been slower, but that’s because of the Android marketplace. I have no issues though and am very happy with the outcome. They were incredibly organized. They’d show us the screen and talk through an idea — capturing what we were talking about very quickly and very accurately. They’re also incredibly efficient at capturing data, incorporating it into the process, and resolving all issues. I don’t think there’s anyways they could improve — the slow parts were on us. -
There are not that many people who have done that before, and they were able to knock it out of the park.
Internal stakeholders are pleased with how BEON.tech has acquitted themselves on this unique project. Their proactive communication and willingness to take over a codebase from a previous vendor are notable. Customers can expect an eager team with direct communication. Since they took over the project, the growth metrics have been great. We've been growing month-over-month, and a lot of the technical stuff that they brought to the table has really helped shore up the platform. It was actually inherited from another tech studio, and the codebase was not in the best condition, so a lot of the stabilization BEON did really helped out with customer retention. We've been doubling pretty much every month for the past 6–8 months. I have no complaints working with them. Throughout all the projects they’ve done, they’ve been straightforward. They don’t beat around the bush. If they missed a deadline, they came to us first to rectify it. Otherwise, they hit the targets efficiently. -
They’re a true product development team, not just an engineering shop.
BEON delivered a high-quality product and are now anticipating its upcoming launch. Their team commanded the project timeline using Jira and relied on Slack for quick and easy communication. Moving this side project toward completion, they exceeded project expectations. Our initial points of contact were Damien (Co-founder, BEON Tech) and Michel (Co-founder, BEON Tech). They oversaw the entire project, but project managers handled the day-to-day responsibilities. I was referred to them through a friend and reached out, describing what my goals were. They were confident they could complete the project, so I decided to give it a shot. I have spent between $20,000–$25,000. We started the project in January 2018, and the work is ongoing. Since this is a side project for me, we’ve taken short breaks and started working again recently. They delivered far more than I expected. Their team was super responsive. They set up an online project tracking system using Jira and I often communicated with their team using Slack. We are in different time zones, but they still respond to me very quickly. I never went longer than a business day without an answer from them. BEON.tech takes a very integrated approach to their work. They’re a true product development team, not just an engineering shop. -
The competence and intelligence of BEON’s developers are better than any outsourcing company I’ve worked with.
BEON is developing the pieces that go around the version-three engine. We use a fully Microsoft stack: it’s a C# application hosted in Azure that uses Azure SQL as its backend database. We’re in the process of moving that database to Azure Cosmos DB, one of Microsoft’s cloud offerings. We’re changing the technology for scalability. In addition, many customers want to work with us programmatically without any humans in the process. We also want to open the API to the public and let clients pull data into their own internal systems. BEON does development in C#. They have been building more backend processes and how the APIs will interact internally. Now they’re working on the client-facing UI that will control and run the engine. We started with one developer who has been fantastic. Then we brought in a second developer to help us and to start the UI work. There’s also a project manager. The partnership began in August of last year and is ongoing. The quality of work is fantastic. BEON is pretty much our development team. One of our in-house teammates is leading the effort, but BEON’s project manager works with me and our VP of development to define each two-week sprint and stay on schedule. Our project manager is great. She set up stand-up calls three days a week and drives the scheduling, taking a load off my plate. She has no problem with reaching out. When there are different ideas, she’s a great mediator to keep the discussion going. The competence and intelligence of BEON’s developers are better than any outsourcing company I’ve worked with in the past. They can speak clearly and concisely about issues and have no problem raising any concerns. They also get our industry, which is not a common one. They’re even helping our summer intern get up to speed on the work he’s doing. I’m overall incredibly pleased. I’d recommend BEON to anyone who asks. -
I appreciate how they encourage us to release updates quickly to seek customer feedback.
BEON.tech’s developers are efficient, responsive, and affordable. They resurrected messy older code and brought greater stability to the platform. Even though emergency services weren’t in the contract, their team resolved a weekend server failure in order to ensure a smooth user experience. Our service operates across many different platforms and devices, so we needed a development team that could handle a wide variety of tasks. We needed functionality on Android, iOS, and Roku devices, as well as on a standard website, in order to ensure that we offered a quality viewing experience. We were particularly interested in over-the-top apps. Our initial Android development was done by two teams at a different firm, so BEON had to learn to decipher it when they came in. The original project had taken so long that the code was out of date and disorganized— the BEON team consolidated it and migrated it into newer, more-stable coding languages like Kotlin. They did this so quickly that we were able to deploy new features faster and release an additional Android TV app. On top of that, they’ve also helped us deploy captions on ur software and provided customer support to our users. We interact daily with Damian, one of the co-founders, who serves as the project manager for our account. There are also at least five Android, iOS, and Heroku developers, although I’m not sure if that’s all of them. I knew one of the members of their leadership team from a prior project where he’d run the iOS development. Prior to hiring BEON, we’d always gone for fixed-scope projects with a set price, but we realized it was ineffective. On this contract, they’re working hourly just like in-house staff. Their team has the flexibility to scale up and down as needed, which really changed our development strategy. It’s much more affordable than our previous approach. We started working with BEON in March 2019 and we’re still working together. BEON has been really responsive on customer service issues related to bugs, which has helped us retain dedicated users and improve our ROI. They’ve repaired an iOS audio error and a bug in that caused users to lose items in their watch list. On top of that, they’re entirely responsible for creating our new Android TV app, so any growth there will be due to their work. They’re affordable, fast, and good communicators. Even though their team is overseas, we’re in the same time zone and their grasp of English is excellent. They’ve integrated well into our Slack channel and their whole team feels like it’s part of ours. Their co-founder handles every level of the project, even down to customer complaints, and he manages everything efficiently. I also appreciate how they encourage us to release updates quickly to seek customer feedback. We once had a weekend incident where our servers went down at two in the morning. I came in on Monday expecting to start a disaster recovery, but BEON’s team had already restored server stability. They also provided a road map for making our platform run more smoothly in the future. Our contract doesn’t have a line item for emergency services. They helped us because of the strong relationship we’d forged with them. They’ve never hesitated on any of the tasks they’ve been assigned. I really appreciate how hard they work. I’m actually nervous that they’ll become famous and get too busy to keep working with us! I’d like it if they added a stronger consulting element to their services. Although they’re not experts in our specific industry, they have a broad view of it and exposure to other clients, and it would be nice to see them incorporate that into our project discussions. For example, I’ve encouraged them to challenge me on our feature orders—to reconsider our work priorities or speak up if a new technology stack or approach is better than the one we’ve chosen. They’re already strong when it comes to encouraging me to make new releases quickly, so this would improve our service even further. -
BEON.tech has performed in the 96% of the subcontractors we've used thus far.
The in-house team is highly satisfied with the quality of BEON.tech’s work and their turnaround times. BEON.tech goes above and beyond to meet all needs, while their expertise and meticulous internal processes earned them trust. We give BEON.tech the wireframes and they help us manage web development projects for multiple environments. They handle everything from gathering the requirements and making recommendations to UI development and execution. They usually use .NET and C# for development. We work with a project manager and about six developers. We evaluated about 30 different companies. Then, we narrowed down our list based on the reviews we read on Clutch and other websites. We were impressed with BEON.tech's breadth of expertise and their responsiveness. Besides, they have reasonable rates, so we chose them. We've spent about $80,000. We started working with BEON.tech in March 2019 and the relationship is ongoing. I'd rate them very high. We use Slack, Trello, and InVision to keep track of the project. BEON.tech's internal processes are more stringent than what I've seen from other companies, which we appreciate. We're highly satisfied. -
We’ve worked with teams from around the world, and BEON Tech Studio has been one of the best.
BEON.tech has phenomenal project management, with an organized and professional team that is responsive and communicative. They consistently meet goals and provide a transparent workflow that easily shows how they spend their time. We needed a partner to provide full-stack web and mobile dev and design. We’ve worked on numerous projects with BEON.tech, usually providing lo-fi wireframes that they rely on to build hi-fi mockups. They’ve built iOS, Android, and web apps, using Swift, Java, and Angular respectively. Projects have ranged from a simple business website for a private equity firm to a logistics platform for the refrigerated freight industry. Each project typically has one point of contact, but we can interface with whoever’s on the team. We met them when we were both contracted by a different company to build the frontend and backend of their mobile product. We realized that BEON Tech Studio meshed well with our company culture and had superior communication, so we eventually partnered with them for our own work. The current project will be well over $100,000. Our most recent project started in May 2018, and the work is ongoing. We don’t typically have specific KPIs, but whenever we outline deliverables and a roadmap, they keep on track. They’ve never had any issue completing our scope of work. They’re incredibly communicative and provide constant updates. They use Trello, Jira, and Slack to manage the project, and I’m able to communicate directly with our assigned point of contact or any of the developers. Whenever the owners visit the U.S., they always arrange an in-person meeting with us to review projects and make sure we’re satisfied. Their project management is even better than some of the in-house project managers we’ve hired for our own company. They have complete transparency and the highest level of professionalism. For billing, they keep detailed records of what’s been worked on and how much time it took, which makes it incredibly easy for us to provide feedback. We’ve worked with teams from around the world, and BEON.tech has been one of the best. They work quickly and help keep us competitive in the market. I can’t think of any ways they could improve. -
They are wonderful. Since the beginning, we knew that they would deliver the best product for us.
We hired BEON.tech to build a web- and mobile app for a Connected Classroom that helps students in pre-K to fourth grade learn to read using a sight-based learning algorithm. Although we provided the wireframes, they developed everything else, including the front- and backend of the mobile and web app. They started by looking at what we needed through a ticket system and assigning tasks. They took a lean stack approach, consistently performing QA, conducting more tests, and making adjustments, before eventually launching production. There were about three people on their team. Our CTO and I worked directly with their technical lead and their developers. We’ve worked with them in the past, and all of those projects went really well. They are wonderful. Since the beginning, we knew that they would deliver the best product for us. We’ve spent approximately $150,000 with them. We started working together in August 2014 and the project is ongoing. The platform has had a huge impact, especially for young students, kids with learning disabilities, and students learning English as a second language. It is being used by 30,000 teachers and 150,000 students and parents across the United States. They’re very attentive and communicative. They’re always readily available and they reply quickly. We use various communication and project management tools including Slack, Google Hangouts, Jira, WhatsApp, and Trello. Not only are they the best and smartest in their field, they're always accessible regardless of what time zone they’re in. For example, they have a few team members in Argentina, but we are based in Pacific Time. Despite being four hours ahead of us, we are always able to reach them during our normal business hours. We also don’t have a language barrier between our team and theirs, so it’s very easy to communicate with them. There are not areas of improvement at this time. They’re great. -
They're very helpful in getting you through the recruiting process and the general resources management.
We wanted to augment our staff for engineering tasks and BEON Tech Studio has provided extra engineering resources for our custom software development needs. They start by interviewing us and learn the requirements we’re looking for in the engineers. After that, they come back to us with a list of candidates and their resumes. Consequently, we interview those candidates and hire those who fit our needs — that’s the recruiting process. In addition, they help us write the job descriptions and prescreen — we mainly look for people with software startup experience and enthusiastic personality towards the work. They reached out to us and we’ve been working with 4–5 members of their team, including a project manager, an executive sponsor, and a couple of developers. We started working together in March 2021, and the engagement is ongoing. So far, we’ve spent around $500,000 with them. The resources that they’ve provided have exceeded our expectations, and our team likes working with them. We feel like they’re part of our core team due to their great performance. Also, the project management has been aligned with our expectations; they stay within our budget and handle everything via Jira and Asana. Regarding communication, we use Google Meet. The quality of the candidates they provide is outstanding. They’re also willing to work with us on our special requirements and projects — they’re a responsive team. I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — BEON Tech Studio is a great partner. A piece of advice for potential customers, ensure to develop a relationship with the manager they assign you because they’re very helpful in getting you through the recruiting process and the general resources management. -
The ROI you get from the partnership far exceeded the expectations of myself and the leadership team.
I am the Website Marketing Manager for a SAS company, specializing in MarTech software. I inherited a site, from the original agency, that was launched prior to my start with the company that greatly missed the mark not only on MVP at the time of launch, but also some basic functionality that anyone would expect a modern website to have in terms of UX, SEO, and security. We requested BEON partner with us to start to clean up the redundant mess that was the backend code of the website, as well as make drastic improvements that better showcase our company story and technology. We looked for vendor partners that would be able to commit resources to our project in a timely fashion, as well as for a partner our internal team didn't feel was going to take advantage of our budget. We required ongoing Website Development assistance from a BEON resource, full-time 40 hours per week. As the project has continued to evolve, BEON has been a fantastic partner that will not only do what is asked of them to support our team, but also bring new ideas to the table. While onboarding to and updating our custom CMS hasn't always been the easiest project, the working relationship has been the ideal "Work Smarter, Not Harder" scenario. Originally we brought on 1 single full-time website developer to partner with us. With the success of the project with BEON, we've recently been approved for a second full-time developer to help us speed the process up even more. Thanks to the partnership with the BEON website developers we've been able to increase productivity to our website with an additional 140 hrs+ of work each month compared to our previous agency, as well as compared to some others we'd spoken with. While we are still in the process of digging out of the coding errors from the previous agency, the amount of work the development team has done has exponentially increased the usability of our website CMS as well as started marching us toward better SEO performance. We started with two meetings per week during the initial project onboarding period. Then will move down to one meeting per week after the team feels comfortable working together. We use Slack for chat, and Teams and Google Hangouts for meetings. Outside of meetings, with everyday conversations about the project, the response time from the developers has been nearly instantaneous (no more than 15 minutes at most). They are willing to meet at a moment's notice to put out any "fires" and can be trusted as a true member of the team if and when they need to provide backup support. They have been very knowledgeable about the coding language required for the project, and do not hesitate to bring their own ideas to the table. Unlike some other agencies we've worked with previously, BEON is not an agency or vendor partner that is out to take advantage of your time or budget. The ROI you get from the partnership far exceeded the expectations of myself and the leadership team. With how fast-paced our project can be at times, the team could have worked toward being better about honest timelines to complete certain tasks. There was a fair amount of timidness when more daunting tasks were being done. However, they were open to feedback about managing timelines, giving project estimates, as well as providing more detailed reviews about project status. -
Our team is distributed across various time zones, but both engineers seamlessly adapted to the team's sprint process
I'm the engineering manager for a team in a SaaS company. We provide software as a service for businesses to manage their legal contracts by providing a workflow to generate the contracts, send it for signature, and AI capability to manage the contracts in bulk (detecting key provisions, fields). We hired 2 Senior Engineers to work on an existing React code base in addition to developing new features and components in the platform. The two engineers have been working like a full-time employee and have shown tremendous ownership on the projects that were assigned to them. The workflow was effective even though the developers were in Brazil and 4 hours ahead than some of us. Our team is distributed across various time zones, but both engineers seamlessly adapted to the team's sprint process. BEON provided high-level developers at an effective cost-ratio. -
It is evident that they invest a lot in their staff.
I'm the CTO of a small company in the Energy Services business. Our platform and services run consumer-facing economic and emergency responsive demand programs and BEON.tech has assisted in staffing for our mobile software product. This has definitely allowed us to speed up our development process with quality staff. I see it as a way to save some costs but also to engage more recruiting to acquire great personnel to achieve outcomes faster. We have a remote workforce in various locations across the country; integrating BEON into our workflow has been seamless. It is evident that they invest a lot in their staff. For example, they are bringing their software developers together for a training and mentoring event -- where most companies like BEON do not really engage with their staff outside of onboarding and offboarding. We interviewed several nearshore companies and found the combination of value, talent, and demonstrated commitment and career development with their staff as a winner over the other companies. At this point, they have delivered mobile developers as staff augmentation for new development through first launch to ongoing maintenance. In the case where we have had a staff member leave (because they immigrated to another country), BEON did a very good job of getting us a replacement in time and making sure that that person was trained as well as possible given the time constraints. We discussed our needs with our contact at BEON and provided them a job description; they were able to quickly provide us a list of possible staff, with pre-screening in place. We performed our typical screening interviews as we normally do, and BEON completed the transaction in either hiring or simply assigning the staff to our contract. -
They've gone to pains to understand our culture and hiring processes well.
We are a rapidly growing business always on the lookout for top engineering talent to help tackle our ambitious product roadmap. We have a distinct culture centered around our mission and wanted to bring on additional fullstack engineers who could blend well into our existing teams, and that's when we contacted BEON.tech. I wanted to expand operations into LatAm and needed a vendor we could trust who valued a great customer experience and high quality development. We also wanted a vendor who treated their engineers with the same level of respect and trust we value. We felt BEON.tech had the most similarity to our company values and so far we continue to be impressed with the high quality of the developers and quick onboarding into our environment and codebase. We're happy because we've been giving the ability to onboard these team members into our environment the way that works for us. The vendor reaches out frequently to make sure things are going well. They have been more than willing to integrate with our communication tools. They take feedback and are constantly incorporating it into their day to day interactions with us.
