Meet the Winners: Intuitive Digital - TechBehemoths Awards 2025

Summary

Sustainable growth comes from aligning values with execution. In our exclusive interview, Nick shares how Intuitive Digital transforms strategy into measurable results and builds a culture that fuels long-term success.

Welcome to TechBehemoths’ Meet the Winners video interview series.

In this edition, we speak with Nick Footer, CEO and Cultivator of Happiness at Intuitive Digital, a values-driven digital marketing agency based in Portland, Oregon.

Nick shares how his team combines purpose, performance, and long-term partnerships, and what winning a TechBehemoths Award means for their journey forward.

Introduce yourself and your company. What does your team specialize in?

I'm Nick Footer, CEO and Cultivator of Happiness at Intuitive Digital in Portland, Oregon. We're a 12-person team that helps values-driven organizations grow their impact through digital marketing—SEO, paid ads, and web design that actually works together. We partner with small and mid-sized businesses, nonprofits, and B Corps who care about doing good work in the world. If you believe people and the planet matter as much as profit, we're probably a good fit.

What do you believe sets your company apart in your market or service category?

Our values aren't just posted on a wall—they're how we operate. We use them to decide which partner clients to work with, who we hire, and how we approach every project. Our B-Corp certification backs that up, but you'll see it in action: we build relationships for the long haul, we're always learning and improving, we do what's right even when it's hard, and we believe work should be as fun as possible.

We also strive to be thoughtful, reliable, and enthusiastic about every business we touch from our Discovery & Strategy phase where we do deep planning, our Execute phase where we build infrastructure, and into our Accelerate phase for ongoing work.

What does winning a TechBehemoths Award mean for your company's operations?

This is huge for us. We're a small, 12-person team often going up against larger agencies, so this recognition really matters. It validates what we've believed all along: that you don't need to be the biggest to deliver exceptional work—you just need to care deeply about your clients and their success. This award gives us credibility with businesses looking for an agency that shares their values, and it helps us reach more organizations doing meaningful work in the world.

Who was your biggest client in 2025? And all time?

Our biggest partner client is OnPoint Community Credit Union, the largest member-owned financial institution headquartered in Oregon. They're dedicated to supporting local communities, which aligns perfectly with our values. We work on their paid ad campaigns and organic search (SEO/GEO).

In 2024, we integrated their top-of-funnel channels with omnichannel efforts and seasonal campaigns to deliver:

  • 5.36x Annual Average Search ROAS
  • 28% Decrease in CPA Year Over Year
  • 100% Increase in Search Conversions

But we do shine for small businesses too. Really important work for them is critical to whether they make payroll, or not. Here are a couple examples:

Summit Learning Charter is a free online public school in Oregon. (SEO/GEO and Paid Ads)

  • 431% Increase in Website Traffic
  • 284% Increase in Organic Conversions
  • 290% Increase in Phone Calls
  • 474% Increase in Applications

Rose City Futsal offers top-notch futsal courts. (Paid Ads)

  • 77% Decrease in Cost per Acquisition
  • 215% Increase in Conversions
  • 9% Less Budget Spent

How has this recognition (both the Award itself and being part of TechBehemoths) impacted your team, clients, or plans for 2026?

This recognition gives us credibility with the kinds of businesses we love working with—values-driven organizations who care about people, planet, and profit, in that order. TechBehemoths is a trust signal for businesses looking for a partner client who gets it. The visibility helps us connect with more B Corps, nonprofits, and conscious businesses who are doing work that matters. That's what we're here for.

From your own experience, what advice would you give to companies that want to stand out in the tech industry?

This can be based on your own experience, lessons learned, or key principles that guided your journey.

After 13 years in this industry, here's what we know: values matter as much as profit. Not the values you put on your website and forget about—the ones you actually use to make decisions. The quality of your work is also important. We don’t just check off tasks or use AI to pump out content.

Our advice: Develop your values with your whole team, not in a conference room with leadership. Hire for those values as much as for skills. Build your processes around them. Use them when things get hard.

We create strategies that are tailored to each partner client’s business, their industry and what is going on with digital marketing. We are constantly evaluating and evolving those strategies and tactics for partners (clients) and also for our company.

Thank you, Nick, for joining us and sharing your insights.
