Outsourcing of internal application development

High-speed platform for fraud detection
Profinit built a custom-made big data computational platform, based on the Hadoop, Apache Spark and Python tech stack. The project aimed to integrate payment transaction sources and build an analytical model to identify fraud. The unique architecture was built to perfectly match the requirements of our in-house analytics department. As a result, we saw a significant decrease in fraudulent transactions and an improved client NPS ratio. Profinit's workflow was absolutely effective. They worked truly well as self-managed teams led by senior consultants and architects. Their services were also highly cost-effective (we realized cost savings in the project in comparison to the original estimation). I have to recommend them... high quality, top expertise, high effectiveness, open and fair communication. -
Development of central log monitoring solution for Erste Group bank
Profinit developed a centralized log management system for our bank, the largest bank in Czechia. To comply with banking regulations, it was necessary to build one unified repository for various audit logs and unify the logs into a unified structure, logs of internal/external applications, infrastructure, and network... Ensuring the storage of the original message, message hash, immutability, and anti-readability. Both the analysis and the subsequent implementation were conducted properly and in a friendly spirit. We were satisfied with the Profinit's delivery, which met our requirements for a favourable price solution.
