Histogram is an independent marketing and communications agency based in Czechia, founded in 2014. We run without investors and without bank credit. Nobody is pushing us to grow at any cost, which means we can be selective about the projects we take on.

Most of our clients are owners and managing directors of mid-sized Czech companies. Businesses that are genuinely good at what they do, turn over hundreds of millions of crowns, and have handled marketing in pieces or not at all. They know something needs to happen. They just do not have anyone in-house who can write the brief.

We usually start with strategy. Blueprint is sold on its own and you can walk away with it. You get a defined audience, positioning, messaging and a plan for the first year. If you want to keep going, the rest is there: Reach (paid, owned and earned media), Studio (video, animation, podcast, photo and copy), and Autopilot (marketing automation, digital product management and AI consulting).

We specialise in the defence sector, technology companies, tourism, and processing operations. What these have in common is a concrete product. Either the field is technically demanding and you have to understand what the client is actually talking about, or the company makes something physical and inflated advertising language does it more harm than good.

Clients include T-Mobile, Google, Lentiamo, Orlen and Kofola. They also include Pila Smrčiny and Armex Energy. Most of our work is for mid-sized Czech companies that have an owner, not shareholders. References usually agree on two things: we are reliable, and we are easy to talk to.
