GFAD IT and Service GmbH is an independent managed-service provider headquartered in Berlin and part of the GFAD Group, which has supported organizations since 1979. We focus on the operational needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in Berlin, Potsdam and the wider Brandenburg region, safeguarding the availability, security and scalability of their IT systems.

Our portfolio is built on three intersecting layers. First, a helpdesk reachable by direct dial, e-mail and remote access resolves day-to-day incidents and user questions. Second, scheduled on-site visits are carried out by permanently assigned technicians who know each client’s environment in detail. Third, managed services employ monitoring, patch management, backup verification and vulnerability scanning to detect issues before they turn into outages, with results measured against agreed service levels.

To enable modern collaboration we operate a privately hosted cloud platform in a German data centre. Mailboxes, file shares and virtual desktops run on this infrastructure, giving clients GDPR compliance, data-residency assurances and digital sovereignty while permitting secure access from any location. Disaster-recovery snapshots, two-factor authentication and encrypted transit channels are standard features, not add-ons.

All work is governed by ISO-aligned processes that emphasize transparency and risk prevention rather than ad hoc troubleshooting.
