Horrible Company that doesn't pat their contractors

I was contacted via LinkedIn IM from this person (Ahmad Sultan from ENCS Networks) about a job at O'Hare. After a couple back and forth messages I took the job. It was a switch and router refresh for Etihad airlines. I would just be racking and un-racking a switch and a router and provide remote access to their team, easy enough. I purchased tools that they said I would need, we got on a few calls to make sure I had everything I needed for the following week. It was going to be 2 days for a total of $760 plus expenses. I spent over $300 for all this, I didn't even invoice the food I bought or the tools. I completed the work in a professional manner, the gentleman at Etihad was very nice and welcoming. After the work was finished they asked me to hop on a call to delete pictures and documents from the job which I did. I also had to send an email saying all data has been deleted to the best of my knowledge which it was. I sent numerous emails asking when I am to be paid (See email screenshots) which they keep giving me the run around, there was always an excuse. He told me it's the holidays and then there was an audit, and then he was sick. The last time he said he'd ask payroll I believe and get back to me the next morning which he didn't, this was on a Monday, he ghosted me all week. So come Friday, I started digging, I noticed they never removed me from teams chat or had me delete any of that data, there was also my google backup, so I decided to screenshot everything. There was a lot of data in there. Information about Etihad's network, hostnames, type of equipment, what devices are connected to which ports, pictures of their rack and all equipment... Private customer data that should never leave Etihad. I sent them an email with all the data I collected letting them know my intentions if I was not paid, obviously I would have blurred out the private data, it's not Etihad's fault. They threaten me with legal action for THEIR mishandling of customer's private data. After a few days of back and forth and to my reluctance I caved and deleted all Etihad's private data and let them know. He wanted me to send screenshots of my private devices and system logs showing I deleted everything. I was not about to do that, I told them I'd sign something. The tell me I need a notarized document saying I deleted everything. The first time an email saying I did was sufficient, they can easily draft something up in their legal department but they keep moving the goalposts on what's needed to be paid. Monday morning I noticed he blocked me on here so at this point I've accepted the fact I am not getting paid and I just want people to be aware of aware of this company's behavior as far as handling of customer private data and not paying people that work for them and not properly vetting the person they are hiring. Looking back I should've declined the work because it was sh$t show from the get-go. Live and learn I guess. I had a feeling they were going to not pay after they were nit picking the hours even though it was 2 days $380 no hours. This is actually crazy to me that a company would ruin their reputation over a $900 something bucks. It's just incompetence all around. I'm sure they never had any intention of paying me from the start. I'm not going to get a lawyer that costs more than what I would have been paid and I'm sure they though of that. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeing how incompetent they are, there was no background check on me or anything, I could've been some devious individual trying to do nefarious things.
