Elscomm is a managed IT services provider based in North Sydney, working with Australian businesses of 15 to 70 staff. René Els founded the business in 2006 and still leads it.

We deliberately sit between two markets. Below us are the operators built for sole traders. Above us are the consultancies designed for enterprise. A 40-person firm is poorly served by both, and that gap is where we work.

Our model is ongoing managed services rather than project delivery. Clients move onto a monthly agreement covering help desk, monitoring, security and vendor management, and we stay accountable for the whole environment rather than for individual jobs. Our average client relationship runs eight years.
