BudTech LLC is an IT and software company based in Muscat. We install and support office IT for businesses in Oman, and we build software for clients in Oman and abroad. Amirh. Safavi founded the company in 2026 and works with every client directly. The person who plans your network or writes your system is the same one who answers when something breaks.

In Oman we come on site. A typical job is some mix of structured cabling, office networks and WiFi, IP cameras recording to an NVR, VoIP phones, servers and virtualisation, Active Directory and shared files, business email, backups and endpoint protection. For a new office or branch we can take the whole fit-out as one project and then keep looking after it as managed IT support. That way the client deals with one company instead of a handful of contractors.

Software is different because it can be done remotely. We build websites in English and Arabic, custom business applications and ERP systems, and we provide email hosting and IT consulting to clients across the GCC and further away. One example is the luxury car-rental platform we built from scratch for Platinum Car Rentals.

Ruby Shipping Line is a client on both counts. We installed the IT in its Muscat office: MikroTik networking, a VMware ESXi host running four virtual machines, Windows Server with Active Directory, IP CCTV, and a VoIP PBX with IVR. Its shipping operations also run on AVISA (Automated Vessel Invoicing & Shipping Architecture), the shipping agency software BudTech owns.

AVISA follows a shipment from booking to the last payment, whether it's an import, an export, an NVOCC booking or a transshipment. It issues bills of lading and delivery orders and keeps demurrage and detention clocks running on each container. Deposits are tracked until they're refunded or used. Invoices keep every earlier version, VAT is applied per charge, and the port and customs filings are prepared from the same booking. The agency's customers can look up their containers on a public tracking page. Each agency gets its own installation, on a server it chooses.
