Woods & Walker is a custom software development and technology consultancy business, led by its founders. We've been based in Newcastle upon Tyne since 2015 and work with clients all over the UK, including London, Bristol, the South Coast, Birmingham, the Midlands, Leeds, Manchester and the North East.

We run a business ourselves, so we know what our clients face: limited budgets, recruitment, priorities pulling in different directions and systems that never quite do what you need. That experience shapes how we work. We spend a client's money as carefully as we'd spend our own, and we only recommend something if it's genuinely worth doing.

The answer isn't always new software. Some problems need bespoke, business-critical systems. Others are solved by configuring the tools a company already has. We have no supplier partnerships and we don't accept referral fees, so our advice is truly independent. We'll tell you what we honestly think, even if it means a smaller project for us.

From the first call through to launch and ongoing support, you work directly with the owners, Oli and James. We've chosen to stay a small, senior team. That means no account managers in the way, no project managers passing messages back and forth, and no handover from a sales team to a delivery team. You explain your business once, and you always know who is responsible.
