WIARA - DAAS Verified Company

WIARA is a software company based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, working since 2018. We began as a custom

development team — web platforms, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, internal systems — and we

still take that work. What changed in 2025 is that one of our own products grew into a second

business.

That product is DigitalProductPassport, a platform for the EU Digital Product Passport: the record

that will have to accompany products placed on the European market under the Ecodesign for

Sustainable Products Regulation. Manufacturers, importers and the consultancies serving them use it

to assemble passports, hold the evidence behind them, and publish them, so that a code on the product

opens a page a buyer, a recycler or an inspector can actually read. It runs in eight EU languages, on

eight national sites.

Alongside the passport we sell traceability on its own, and for many customers that is the door in. A

label or packaging supplier gives every item a unique code — QR or Data Matrix, on GS1 identifiers —

and the code opens a page showing whatever their client wants shown: composition, origin, care

instructions, certificates, warranty. It carries their brand, not ours, and it is priced per item for

print runs counted in millions rather than dozens. None of it is mandatory today, which is exactly

why it sells: the buyer wants it now, for commercial reasons of their own. The same structure becomes

the regulated passport later, so nothing built now is thrown away.

We build API-first. Everything the interface does is reachable programmatically — over a hundred

operations documented to OpenAPI 3.0.3 — so an ERP or PLM system can drive passports without retyping

product data; a separate public endpoint resolves GS1 Digital Link identifiers at model, batch and

item level, conforming to ISO/IEC 18975. The platform uses GTIN identification, role-based access

separating the public from economic operators and authorities, and integrates with the EU's central

passport registry.

We are certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and the certificate is verifiable in the IAF global database

of accredited certifications, not only on our own website.

Sectors today: textiles, iron and steel, batteries, construction products and furniture. We also run

a white-label model for consultancies, label suppliers and chambers of commerce that prefer to serve

their own clients under their own brand.
