It's been a pleasure to work with Webamboos over the last two years, initially to build the MVP of our art marketplace and then to add new features and improve our product. At the start of our partnership, we had a few meetings with the Project Manager with whom we refined the Product Requirements and identified the core functionality for the MVP. During this time, Webamboos used their expertise to suggest improvements and point out any potential tech blockers early on. Once this was ready, the team built the MVP of the marketplace using a Javascript/TypeScript-based tech stack (Node.js / Next.js), while integrating a headless CMS (Strapi), payment processing (Stripe), and email API (SendGrid). As a product designer, I produced the designs and flows for the team to work on. Webamboos then converted the designs into functionality, working in 2-week sprints. The team actively suggests improvements rather than simply building without asking questions. This collaboration is key to creating great products, that are both technically robust and pleasant from a UX point of view. When we did run into issues (which is unavoidable when building a complex product), we could always count on the team to adapt and come up with solutions. This includes both allocating additional resources for important fixes and sharing knowledge from highly experienced team members that were working on a different project. Also, it is clear that everyone who works there is passionate about what they do, and truly wants your business to do well. This applies to everyone from the CEO (Max) to the PM (Raluca), Tech Lead (Arpad), and all the developers that have worked on FairArt at various stages (Alex, Daniel, Lucian, Laris, Mihai & Vladut). In terms of project management style, the company employed a structured approach known as the Product Discovery Workshop during the initial stages. Post the workshop, the team was equipped with essential tools, including a Gantt chart for visualizing the project timeline, detailed estimations split by feature, and a portion of the UI/UX design & prototype. These elements provided a comprehensive understanding of the project's trajectory and contributed to a sense of comfort during the development phase, as expectations were clearly outlined. The communication process is noted for its consistency, indicating a well-established framework for interaction. The synergy with their Project Manager was awesome and she was very careful and treated us with patience. She wanted to be sure that everything was clear for us and to take the right decisions. Despite being a middle size company, the professionalism demonstrated by the team is at a high level. We chose Webamboos because it came as a recommendation from other startup entrepreneurs In the last 2 years after we released the platform, and after talking to more than 300 beneficiaries both parents and care providers we found out what are the users’ more pressing needs. The most needed functionalities we managed to fix and optimize (i.e: filteres, reviews, ) , but there are still some important features and processes, especially in the onboarding and match-making process that we didn’t manage to fix, because we lack expertise. Analyzing the market and asking for recommendations from other entrepreneurs, we concluded that Webamboos are the specialists that could help us improve and optimize the user onboarding and match-making process After launching the new platform, we saw an improvement in the conversion rate caused by the optimization of the User Experience. We also saw an increase in organic traffic. The communication with the team was great. They were flexible and open to new perspectives, especially when you have to work with a startup. I'm more than pleased with their work and I recommend them to whoever needs to develop a platform, using the latest technologies. We had weekly meetings with the project manager and if there was an emergency, they always made time to jump in a quick meeting. We used Slack to communicate efficiently and if there were any delays, they would let me know ASAP so I to plan.

They approached our solution in a really professional manner. A really great team and culture around them. Hard to find a good collaborator on software, they are one of the few that did a great work for us. Great support, they've been there at every moment we needed their support. We also had a big project, but they managed it like pro's. Personally i was impressed on how our collaboration went and glad i could meet and work with them.
