Warning Engineering builds hardware products for companies that need the whole thing done, not just one piece of it. An electronic product fails at the seams between disciplines: the board that does not fit the enclosure, the antenna next to a metal bracket, the thermal problem that is the mechanical engineer's fault on Monday and the electronics engineer's fault on Tuesday. So we keep electronics, firmware, industrial design and manufacturing in one team with one point of contact, and the seams are our problem rather than the client's.
Typical products: smart wearable devices, IoT devices and connected sensors, automotive and car sensors, industrial automation electronics, e-bikes and small consumer electronics.
Electronics: schematic to layout, DFM review, BOM sourcing and prototype runs, in KiCad and Altium. Single and multi-layer boards, high-speed digital, RF, power electronics and mixed-signal designs.
Firmware: bare-metal and RTOS development on STM32, ESP32 and ARM parts. Bootloaders, device drivers, BLE, WiFi and LoRa stacks, over-the-air update systems and Linux board bring-up. We start firmware in parallel with the board, not after it, because a floating pin and a bad driver look identical until someone traces it on the bench.
Mechanical and industrial design: concept sketches to production CAD in Fusion 360. Enclosures, IP ratings and design for injection moulding, extrusion and sheet metal, with the tooling cost in mind from the first sketch.
Prototyping: CNC machining, 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS) and quick-turn PCB assembly. Print to learn, machine to prove.
Production: PCB fabrication, PCB assembly, injection moulding and CNC machining, from the first pilot run to volume, with tooling and quality control handled by us. EMC testing. App development for the products that need a phone or web side.
We work with hardware startups and with established companies, across Europe and North America. Clients include Scania and Karcher. What we tell every founder before the first board: budget for revision B and C, treat certification as a design input rather than a final step, and bring us the problem, not the spec.
