Tolaron Verified Company

Tolaron was founded in September 2026 by Zdeněk Dolák, a Prague-based software engineer who runs the company and personally leads every client project. He has been building software professionally since 2018. Most of his career has been in payments. As an integration specialist at GoPay (2020 to 2021), he helped hundreds of Czech and Slovak businesses connect to the payment gateway, working through their API setup, testing and troubleshooting. From 2021 to 2026 he was senior mobile developer and team lead at a UK FCA-authorised payment institution. There he took the merchant payments app for iOS and Android from architecture to store release while leading a small team of engineers. The app is used by more than three thousand merchants. He also built its in-app onboarding: identity verification, commercial terms and e-signed agreements, with no paperwork or sales call. He is also a co-founder of AtletiLabs, a separate Czech-Vietnamese venture, where he works on the technical side of Fonco, a marketing platform for a brand expanding into Southeast Asia. He started Tolaron so companies can hire that experience directly. One senior engineer answers for the work from the first conversation to release, and after it. He works in Czech and English.

Two to four client projects a year. Tolaron keeps the number deliberately low so that a senior engineer is on your product full time instead of splitting a week across six accounts. A typical engagement runs three to six months from the first call to release, and continues afterwards as maintenance and smaller change requests. Shorter pieces of work, such as a technical review of an existing app or a fixed-scope feature, sit alongside that and are quoted separately. In parallel we build and operate our own products, Monivero and Avenoria, which is where new approaches are tested before they reach client work.

Every project is priced on its own scope. Before work starts we agree the scope and a budget limit with you in writing. If that limit turns out to be too low, we pause and ask for your approval instead of billing past it.
