Most software now starts inside an AI builder or a no-code platform. That is a good thing: founders reach a working prototype in days instead of months. Every finding is marked as something you can fix yourself or something that needs an engineer, so you always know what you are looking at.

Platform migrations. Moving an application off a closed platform onto infrastructure you own outright, with your code in your repository and your data in your database. No lock-in, and no paying per seat to access your own product.

Feature development. Building what the original tool could not, without rewriting the parts that already work.
