    Just a horrible company

The ad leaf over charged me 500$. my contract was for 2000, they charged 2500, and were about to charge another 500. When i mentioned it to them they told me they would work on it. 2 months with no answers and they finally tell me the $500 is for hosting the website; i replied saying i dont want them to host it so they say the $500 will then be to package the website for me. After some discussion about how my contract was for 2000 not 2500 that the website is mine, and im not paying for it to be packaged, i was left with nothing. so i left a google review, a day later the owner chris calls me threatening me with his attorneys over my google review. He then told me im not getting my website or my money back. Now 8 months later i still have nothing and im in a court battle with them. They are the worst company i have ever dealt with. please shop elsewhere and save yourself the headache. even if i received my website, they use such simple formatting and go daddy style layouts that its emberassing to pay even a few hundred dollars for a website.

We have been a customer for over a year, Chris and his team are very professional and knowledgeable. We have been burned by many marketing companies in the past that promise you everything and deliver nothing. The Ad Leaf delivered everything they promised. We couldn’t be happier with the work they’ve done for us. We will recommend them to any company looking for their service.

It is good to see that some others have shared positive reviews from their experiences with Ad Leaf. My experience with Ad Leaf was not at all positive. The first piece of work they sent to us for review was almost incomprehensible. There were too many grammatical and spelling errors to count, and it was clear that whoever had written this multi-paragraph essay on our company had zero understanding of what we do or sell in any capacity. I went through the first few paragraphs editing their basic spelling errors and comma splices, wondering if the person who wrote it had ever been taught in elementary school what a conjunction or run-on sentence was. There were dozens of incomplete sentences and paragraphs full of words that became some of the worst sentences I have ever read. Most of these sentences made little to no sense at all and had nothing to do with our business. To be brutally honest, I would expect that an average fifth grader could have edited and constructed a more useful advertising piece for me. I was trying hard to figure out which of the following explanations was my reality: Was this company playing a strange joke on me? Or had I hired an illegitimate, scam-service? After 5 paragraphs of reading these incoherent thoughts plastered to a word document and not seeing our company name or product mentioned even once, I had to pick up the phone to immediately to address my concerns. I was appalled as to why I was paying a team of "advertising and marketing professionals" so that I could provide them with a lesson in basic product advertising and literacy. I would advise that when you are marketing a product/company, you might want to mention the product and company name (even a logo?) in the advertisement. These major concerns were justified and excused by Ad Leaf's team and leadership alike, with no acknowledgment or explanation whatsoever. We were forced to pay them for their insufficient services and required to finish out our contract with them, even after asking to please just go in our separate directions, as this clearly was not going to be a good partnership for either of us. They insisted on charging us for the remainder of the contract, even though they would not be providing a service for us at our own request. The lack of ownership and decency from Ad Leaf in this regard was by far the most disappointing and distasteful aspect of our experience with them. Understanding that each organization operates at a different working standard of excellence, we now know that our expectations were a poor match for Ad Leaf's capabilities. In my company, when I pay someone for a service, I expect some degree of competency from that provider and vice versa. From our standards, Ad Leaf's work and services were poor at best. Proceed at your own risk.
