Every organization has expectations to change the way they work currently when an ERP is implemented. It is a change that calls and warrants change at the cultural level. The change has to ensure that every stakeholder and the user is made a part of the solution with their concerns, fears, and habits undergoing a change. The failures in ERP domain are primarily because of the wrong start and approach. Classic example is the difference in approaches of two Doctors treating a patient for Blood Pressure. One would recommend a tablet to lower the BP and the other would ensure that the patient becomes a part of the problem and thus the solution wherein the other doctor would try, educate, enforce a change in lifestyle so that the root cause is attended.
