Savage Marketing is a marketing systems agency working with high-ticket businesses across Latin America — the companies selling to the expat and digital nomad population now arriving in Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico and Colombia and other countries across Latin America.

We are not an ad-management shop. Clients bring us in to run the marketing function itself: strategy, demand generation, content, email, paid media, social and reporting, operated as one system rather than a set of separate services bought piecemeal.

We were founded in 2003 and have served 212 clients across more than 80 industries. Before we moved the practice to Latin America, that work included Google, LinkedIn, 3M, HP, Motorola, BlackBerry, Sybase/SAP, NCR, Thomson-Reuters and Concentrix — largely in considered-sale markets where a purchase takes months and involves several decision makers.

That is the same problem we now solve here. An expat buying property, a vehicle, healthcare or professional services is making a high-value decision in a country they do not yet understand, typically over a research period of six to twenty-four months. They cannot easily tell which local business is credible. Marketing that works elsewhere underperforms in this market because it assumes a buyer who already trusts the options in front of them.

So we start by auditing and rebuilding the digital trust signals a foreign buyer checks before they make contact: proof, visibility, responsiveness, and consistency across every channel they will look at. Once that foundation exists, we layer demand generation on top — lead capture, automated follow-up built for a long research cycle, video content, SEO and answer-engine optimisation, paid campaigns on Meta and Google, social management, and retargeting, all tracked in a single CRM.

Not every client uses every part of the system. We scope each engagement to what the business actually needs and build only that.

We take one business per category in each market, so we are never running marketing for a client's direct competitor. That limits how many clients we can take, and it is deliberate.
