CadiDeals started a bold idea to create a marketplace where golf enthusiasts could buy and sell pre-owned equipment with ease. As a startup, they needed not only a platform but a full-fledged e-commerce solution.

The Challenge

Building Customized E-commerce: They needed a platform for buying and selling pre-owned golf gear. Off-the-shelf solutions like WordPress and WooCommerce lacked the flexibility for CadiDeals’ unique business model, so we had to build a site from scratch.
Efficiently Managing a Large Inventory: CadiDeals was set to launch with an impressive inventory of around 8,000 items. The process of manually adding each product was daunting, so they needed a scalable solution to manage and continuously update their inventory with minimal manual input.

With these goals in mind, we set out to create a customized e-commerce platform that would launch CadiDeals into the market as a sleek, efficient, and customer-friendly destination.

The Solution

1. Building the E-commerce Platform
From designing the logo to developing wireframes and creating the site’s visual identity on Figma and Adobe, we meticulously planned every aspect of the user journey. The frontend was built using HTML and CSS, ensuring a clean and engaging customer experience. For the backend, we developed a custom CMS in Laravel, mirroring the ease and functionality of platforms like WordPress and WooCommerce but tailored entirely to CadiDeals’ needs.

This empowered CadiDeals’ team to manage their store with ease—whether that meant updating inventory, tracking orders, or processing payments. For buyers, a streamlined experience allowed for easy signup, browsing, and secure checkout with integrated PayPal payment options.

2. Streamlining Inventory Management with Web Scraping
To support their inventory, we built a custom web scraper that gathers product information from competitors’ websites. This data was saved in database, allowing the client to selectively add relevant items to their store as needed. This solution saved hours of manual data entry.

The Impact

The launch of e-commerce platform marked a new beginning. Meanwhile, the automated inventory management system was a game-changer. The web scraper allowed CadiDeals to focus on growth rather than getting bogged down by daily data entry.
