Introduction &Project overview:

Travel Shield is a travel insurance domain application.

Overseas Travel insurance would protect you during the times of problems and stress when you are travelling in a foreign land. If there is cancellation of trip, interruption or delay due to illness, injury or bad weather or due to loss of baggage, passport, traveler’s cheques, traveling tickets, etc., there would be financial reimbursement offered to cover your financial risk. Medical expenses towards treatment in a local hospital would be provided. Financial emergency assistance would also be provided in case of loss of funds due to theft or any such event. Back home, your house and contents would be protected with a home insurance coverage against fire, allied perils and burglary.

Features & Challenges:

● Create pdf from html document (Create Policy document).

● Open API interface for public API's(Help to see API configuration details.)

● Integration with third party API's to generate (Policy and Policy Numbers)

● Import features applied to generate n number of policy based on document record in one time.

● Export feature to export the record into document file.

Our Approach and Solution:

· Title: Create pdf from html document

· Description: Based on client requirement need to generate pdf policy, Invoices document with dynamic data containing information.

· Proposed solutions: To achieve this requirement we created a html template has a similar design as per pdf requirement and define some key tags. so every time when request to generate pdf document read the html template and replace the tags with actual value information and then with the help of Microsoft library converting the html template to pdf and returning with the resulting document.

· Title: Open API interface for public API's

· Description: Based on client requirement, client need some API to be public to see all the configuration like input and output information with endpoint URL's.

· Prerequisites DLL library: Swashbukkle

· Proposed solutions: To fill the client requirement already there is some solution is available with the help of third party Library DLL(Swashbukkle) included in the project with define set of configuration. The resulting output is we can share our public API's information with someone, there is no need to collaboration with others, only by seeing the information he can understand what endpoint will call and what data need to pass and get.

· Title: Import features applied to generate n number of policy based on document record in one time

· Description: Import multiple records with a single set of operation by upload .xlsx, .csv document that contains records.

· Problem statement: Suppose client has some information in document format(.xlx,.csv) and want to enter this information into application so this is very irritating and time consuming task read each entry and fill the form every time and submit the information. the easiest way to handle these type of situation is create a interface where only upload files and it will auto integrate all document information with the application.

· Proposed solutions: Created an import UI interface where we can upload the document file and associate the column with table column and as soon as submit the form it will integrate all the document information into associated table the resulting action will be with a single form submit all document information will be associated with the work that we want.
