QA Process Maturation:
As Growlow (a Dama company) expanded, the complexity of their software grew, highlighting the need for a refined QA process. Although they had instituted basic QA measures, they needed enhanced processes to keep up with evolving business demands. Mantis EVN was brought in to ensure Dama Financial's QA processes matured and aligned with their objectives, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction.
Software Complexity and Team Growth:
The software's size and complexity made it challenging to test effectively without dedicated QA resources. During the engineering team’s rapid expansion, test coverage fell short, leading to an increased bug rate. Mantis EVN tackled these challenges with a two-phase approach.

Phase 1:
In the first year, we assigned a QA engineer to focus on exploratory testing, understanding business needs, and gaining in-depth product knowledge. Based on these insights, we developed a QA strategy tailored to the client's requirements and integrated QA processes into the software development cycle. Every new feature underwent multiple rounds of exploratory testing before production, and we established regression testing to prevent bugs before each release. Detailed reports were generated and shared with stakeholders after each regression cycle.

Phase 2:
As Growlow scaled, we expanded the QA team, adding three engineers to manage the increasing workload. Mantis EVN handled the hiring, training, and onboarding, saving the client significant time and resources. With the entire team working from a single location, we conducted in-person sync-ups, boosting productivity. Initially a manual QA team, our engineers quickly adopted AI tools for no-code automation, leveraging internal knowledge-sharing at Mantis EVN. This development eliminated the need for additional automation engineers and significantly reduced production release times.
