Our Journey So Far: A Look Back at IIGF’s Spectacular Seasons

Our inaugural season took place in Dubai, UAE, on November 16, 2018, marking a thrilling start with a stunning dance competition that left us astounded by the incredible response. We saw some of the most talented hidden Indian dancers pour their hearts out on an international stage.

In 2020, as the world came to a standstill, we adapted and hosted our third season online in 2021, keeping the spirit of dance alive.

The fourth season of IIGF marked a grand comeback, held in Pattaya, Thailand, on October 30, 2022. The reception was spectacular, with participation from over 1400 talented dancers from more than 16 countries, all eager to showcase their skills and gain international exposure.

Dance Categories at IIGF 2024: Choose Your Style

For the upcoming IIGF 2024, we invite dancers to showcase their talents in one of the following five primary dance categories:

Classical Dance: A discipline that requires dedication, years of practice, and a deep spiritual connection, often considered a graceful path to the divine. If you’re passionate about classical dance and want to perform on an international stage, participate in IIGF 2024 through our free online dance audition.
Semi-Classical Dance: Combining the rigor of classical dance with the creativity of other Indian dance forms, semi-classical dance captivates audiences with its expressive movements and elegant grace. Dancers who wish to showcase their skills internationally are encouraged to participate in IIGF 2024.
Freestyle Dance: A popular style worldwide, freestyle allows for a wide range of dance forms, including Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Salsa, Bollywood, and more. Showcase your versatility and creativity by participating in IIGF 2024.
Folk Dance: A celebration of cultural heritage, folk dance brings the rich traditions of India to life. Performers are encouraged to present authentic costumes, music, and dance moves that reflect their roots. Share your cultural pride with the world by joining IIGF 2024.
Superwoman: This special category is dedicated to women aged 30 and above who are passionate about dance. Proving that dance has no age limit, this category allows you to showcase any dance style of your choice, expressing your enduring love for the art. Participate in IIGF 2024 to demonstrate that your passion for dance only grows stronger with time.
