Issues: URLs included dates, and content quality was poor.
Actions: Redirected date-based URLs to simpler ones, allowing for content updates without changing URLs. Enhanced existing posts, deleted irrelevant content, and produced high-quality industry content. This approach improved link building and SEO, as updated content kept existing social shares and backlinks.

2. Local SEO:

Actions: Updated the Google Maps listing to reflect the new company name, optimized it, and added photos. Submitted local citations and guest posts to target the desired area. While the site ranks well in one region, efforts continue for others.

3. Content Marketing & Link Building:

Challenges: Competitors had more backlinks, and the target market was the entire Ireland.
Solutions: Initiated link building from the second month and waited to start content marketing until the website content met quality standards.

Encountered Issues

A redesign between months 3 and 6 led to URL changes without proper 301 redirects. This issue highlighted the importance of having complete trust and control over SEO matters before involving other companies.

Outcomes

High-quality content was a critical factor in sustaining high traffic growth. While technical SEO and link building were crucial, content quality played a significant role in meeting search queries effectively and boosting traffic.
