Purpledecks builds software that has to work, and rescues software that stopped working. We are a senior engineering firm in Longford, Ireland, in the EU, and we have been at this since 2012.

The thing that makes us different is who actually does your work. You deal with the senior people who write the code, not a sales layer, not a project manager relaying messages, not a junior learning on your project, and not an offshore team you never speak to. The person who scopes the job is the person who builds it.

We work in three ways. We build complete products from the ground up, apps, customer portals, operational systems and connected devices, and take them all the way to launch and beyond. We take over builds that have gone wrong, the stalled ones, the messes left by a developer who vanished, and the AI-built prototypes that now have to survive real users, real payments and real data. And we run fixed-scope readiness audits for founders heading into a funding round, an acquisition or an enterprise security review, reading the codebase the way the reviewer on the other side will.

A lot of our work is regulated or connected to hardware, where a mistake is expensive. We build medical-device software to the standard that applies, under the client's quality system, and our track record here is real: ResMed, where we built their first consumer product and a world-first sonar sleep sensor, and Fire1, an implantable cardiac device now in clinical trials. The same discipline carries into regulated financial systems. Sage acquired the accounting software we built.

Over fourteen years we have built and run products for RTÉ, Musgrave and Centra, Eir and Fáilte Ireland, alongside global work behind the scenes for other agencies.
