Pragmatic Software Verified Company

Pragmatic Software was founded in the summer of 2005 by a group of technology enthusiasts who wanted to build something Albania did not really have at the time: a proper, professional software company with standards, processes and a long-term view.

Twenty years later we are still here, still based in Tirana.

What "professional" meant to us then, and still means now:

• Customer-centric - Our job is to deliver pragmatic, working solutions to real problems. Software that nobody uses is a failed project no matter how well it was built, so we spend the time up front to understand what a client actually needs before anyone starts writing code.

• Highly innovative - In April 2007 we became the first Microsoft Certified Partner in Albania. We were also among the first companies here to adopt agile methodologies properly.

• Continuously learning - This industry does not let anyone stand still. We invest deliberately in our people, our tooling and our process, because the alternative is quietly turning into a company that still builds things the way it did twenty years ago.

Since 2005 we have delivered software across a wide range of industries, for clients of very different sizes and very different budgets. Our team covers analysis, design, development, QA and support, so projects do not get handed off halfway through to someone else.

Looking back we have achieved most of what we set out to do that first summer. We are also honest enough to see how much room is left, and we keep working on it.
