OVERVAC is a Croatian software and design studio that builds custom software and websites for companies across Europe. We work on three things: business software, mobile and web apps, and websites, and we bring the same standard of craft to all of them. The idea behind the company is simple. Software that runs a business and the website that represents it should both be built with care, and the people who design them should be the people who engineer them.

On the software side we build what companies actually run on: management and business software, admin dashboards, CRMs, customer portals, booking and ordering systems, and internal tools shaped around how a team works rather than how a template assumes it works. Alongside them we build the mobile apps for iOS and Android and the web apps that connect to those systems, so a client gets one coherent product instead of pieces from several vendors. A recent engagement for a Swedish company covered exactly that: a mobile application for iOS and Android together with the administration dashboard that runs the business behind it.

On the web side we design and build sites that people remember. That ranges from clean, fast company websites to fully immersive experiences with real-time 3D, custom shaders and cinematic motion. Our own site is our best reference. Its logo is a live WebGL shader, its pages change without reloading, and its 3D scenes were built by us, on the stack we use for clients.

What sets us apart is that design and engineering are not separate departments. The same people take a project from the first conversation through to launch, which means what you approve is what ships, and nothing is lost in a handover between a design agency and a development shop. We take on fewer projects and finish each one properly. If a standard solution would serve you better, we say so.

We are based in Croatia, inside the European Union, in the same time zone as our clients in the Nordics, Germany and the rest of Central and Western Europe, under the same data protection law.

That gives our clients near-shore pricing without the distance, the language gap or the legal uncertainty of working further away.
