Mokap is a Software Design Company based in Rome, Italy. We help organizations design, build and evolve digital products that fit the way people actually work.

Our projects often begin when an existing process has become difficult to manage, a software product is hard to use, information is fragmented across different tools, or a company needs to turn a complex operational requirement into a clear digital product.

We bring product thinking, UX/UI design and software engineering into the same team. Instead of treating design as a visual layer added before development, we use it to understand workflows, users, constraints and priorities before deciding what should be built.

Our work includes custom business software, SaaS products, web applications, management systems, dashboards, internal tools and digital platforms. We also redesign existing software, create design systems and support technical teams that need stronger Product Design and UX/UI capabilities.

On the engineering side, our typical stack includes Python and Django for backend development, React for frontend applications and Next.js when server-side rendering is appropriate. We use platforms such as Heroku, AWS and Vercel depending on the architecture and requirements of the product.

AI is another capability we integrate when it improves an actual product or workflow. We work with generative AI and language models to automate repetitive activities, make information easier to access and add useful intelligence to existing applications. We do not treat AI as a standalone trend or force it into projects where it adds no measurable value.
