King Content

While I accepted a very kind offer of a discounted video, I did provide KK with multiple brand resources including clear brand, imagery and messaging instructions but the videos delivered fell significantly short of what I expected by professional video and content creators. The graphics used were very generic (and are used across most of their client videos) as was the messaging even though I had provided a very detailed brief. Not to mention the titles included in the video were far too fast for the human eye to actually capture and retain the information. The stock footage sourced was ok (being of decent quality), but most did not match the brand, message or visual guide which again had been very clearly detailed in the brief. If you want a carbon cut video with no personalisation for your brand, then these guys are super cheap, with great communication and delivered on their timeframes. In saying that, I wouldn't expect anything generic or universal for any brand (what's the point in having a unique brand if you do expect that?!) but that is a standard I set. I did have the opportunity to have one round of feedback but given there were so many issues with the video, it was not worth going through that process and micro managing every step given a clear brief was originally provided but not followed. I did pay for the discounted videos out of my own personal bank account as we were testing video as a format on little to no budget for our start up which is why I now write this feedback.

Excellent and intelligent content and service. Stay clear of brands like Ogilvy ....stick with king they are the best in the business
