At IRIS Robotics, we help companies, universities and research labs in Romania and across Europe put intelligent robots to work in the real world. Founded in Iași in 2017, our name stands for Intelligent Robots, Independent Systems — and that idea drives everything we do.
We are the official Romanian distributor for leading robotics and 3D brands, including Unitree, Pepper, NAO, Temi, Prusa and CreatBot. But we are far more than a reseller: our engineers build the software layer that makes a robot genuinely useful — natural voice interaction, LLM/ChatGPT integration, custom dialogue and applications, and integration with each client's own systems and workflows.
Our work spans humanoid and quadruped robots, Embodied AI research platforms (Unitree, AgiBot, PNDbotics), social robots for reception, retail and events, professional 3D printing and scanning, and end-to-end lab equipping. Every project comes with consulting, training and long-term technical support, and we help public institutions procure through EU funds and public tenders.
We also contribute to European research: IRIS Robotics is a partner in the AAL project engAGE, integrating the Pepper social robot for cognitive stimulation of older adults — work published in peer-reviewed literature.
