Most companies that call us have already tried AI once. There was a pilot, it demoed well, and then it never made it into the product. That gap between a promising prototype and something ten thousand people use every day is the problem we exist to solve.

Gavn Software is a two-engineer consultancy near Copenhagen. We came out of DTU and spent years building systems where failure was expensive: flight-planning infrastructure, a security operations centre, healthcare software. That background shapes how we work. We design from the failure cases first, and we treat AI as one option among several rather than as the goal.

There are three ways to start with us.

The AI Readiness Assessment takes two weeks. We go through your systems and your workflows and hand you a prioritised, costed plan showing where AI would genuinely pay off and where it would not. Some clients take that plan and implement it themselves, which is a perfectly good outcome.

Workshops run one to three days on your own codebase and your own backlog, not toy examples. Your developers leave having shipped something real with the tools.

Development is the engineering itself. Agents built into software your customers already use, with retrieval, guardrails and evaluation harnesses so you can measure whether a change helped or hurt. Custom models for forecasting, classification and anomaly detection. The infrastructure underneath, in Python, Rust, .NET and Azure, cloud or on-premise. GDPR, EU data residency and AI Act obligations are part of the architecture from day one.

The clearest example is PDC StaffPlan, a workforce planning product used across Danish organisations. We designed and built an agent inside it, grounded in twenty thousand pages of manuals. Four months from specification to production. It now runs across seven of their products for more than ten thousand users.

We stay small deliberately. There is no account manager and no delivery team you have never met. You talk to the engineer designing and writing your system, from the first conversation through to the day it runs in production.

We are not the right choice for a proof of concept with no route to production, for low-code automation, or for a chatbot with no real security or compliance requirements. If that is what you need, we will say so early rather than take the work.
