ForkloreLabs is a web studio based in Chișinău, Moldova. We build websites, web applications and admin dashboards for small and mid-sized businesses in Moldova and Romania.
The studio itself is new, founded in 2025. The engineering experience behind it is not: more than ten years in software engineering, inside larger teams working on large-scale applications. A small business website is a much smaller problem than that, and we build it with the same discipline.
We built our services around two situations that are common among small businesses here: running the whole business through a Facebook or Instagram page with no website at all, and owning a site built years ago that nobody has maintained since and that is painful to use on a phone. Both quietly cost a business enquiries it never finds out about.
We start from the opposite end of the usual sales process. Before anyone pays anything, and before we ask for contact details, our free online-presence audit asks four questions about the business and returns a written recommendation. Sometimes that recommendation is that a new website is not the thing to spend money on right now.
Our prices are published openly on our own site instead of hidden behind a sales call. The entry package covers a compact presentation site. The middle one covers a full business website together with local SEO and Google Business Profile setup. The top one adds an AI assistant that handles the questions customers ask over and over, plus CRM and automation work. Every project is still quoted individually, because no price list can see a company’s real content, photographs and internal processes.
What we deliberately do not do: guarantee search engine rankings, publish invented reviews or client logos we have not earned, or promise a finished website in twenty-four hours. All three are common in this market, and all three are warning signs rather than selling points.
We work in Romanian, Russian and English.

From a simple landing page to a complete digital platform
We initially started working with ForkloreLabs on Peraft.md with a relatively simple idea — we needed a landing page and expected the collaboration to be a short-term project. However, we were so satisfied with the way the team worked, communicated, and understood our ideas that the project naturally grew far beyond the original scope. What started as a simple product gradually evolved into a complete platform with user accounts, listings, communication features, search, and many other functionalities.
