First Factory is a nearshore software development company founded by Jason T. Roff in 2000. Our 170+ software engineers are located in Heredia, Costa Rica, with our headquarters in NYC. The rest of our remote team of operations employees work throughout the US.
With our current staffing model, we’re large enough to take on multiple clients and projects simultaneously, but small enough to build a personalized relationship with each client. Originally a Microsoft shop specializing in .NET and C# development, First Factory has done extensive work in C#, Java, Node.js, PHP, RoR, React, React Native, Angular, Xamarin, AWS and Azure. We have worked with clients in the investment, fintech, eCommerce, education, and medical fields (just to name a few), and are happy to provide references from companies that have trusted First Factory with their development needs.
