Encelyte is an AI consulting and custom software firm with its office in Nicosia, Cyprus, working with clients here and across Europe and the wider EMEA region.

Most of what we are asked for falls into four areas. Applied AI, meaning the step in a process where somebody currently has to read something and make a judgement: classifying documents, extracting terms from contracts, answering questions over a company's own records. Automation of the rule-based work around it. Custom software, from internal tools and integrations through to full web and mobile products. And the data and analytics groundwork that makes either of those trustworthy.

What separates us in practice is that we operate what we sell. Pileform is our own product, an AI bookkeeping and VAT automation tool used daily across 55 VAT jurisdictions and 11 languages. Every design decision we recommend to a client, including the boring ones about confidence thresholds, human review queues and what happens when a model provider has an outage, is one we have had to get right ourselves and live with afterwards.

Engagements follow the same shape. We audit what already exists and say plainly where AI or automation pays off and where it does not. We design the system, build it, and then hand it over with documentation, an evaluation set and the governance the EU AI Act expects. The handover is part of the work rather than an upsell, because the alternative is a client permanently dependent on us, which is not a business we want.

We are comfortable saying no. If a rule would do the job better than a model, we will build the rule and charge less. If the underlying data is wrong, we will say that adding AI on top will make wrong answers faster and more convincing. That costs us occasional work and saves clients considerably more.
