Profile strength: Average
Average is better than “below average”, but not “good”, at least not on TechBehemoths. Element Five is one of those companies that might deliver some projects, but are not convincing enough. For this reason, their profile strength is average. Advice: get in touch with Element Five if you have a great intuition. Otherwise, go the extra mile and find a slightly better ranking company. We have 5,000 strong and excellent ones from a total of 43,000+.

- best builders of high quality in melbourne.
- EV deserves a better rating than just 2.9 stars.
- Beware. Money grabbers. Cowardly liars. Absolutely woeful, lies, half truths and avoidance await you. Cheap contractors and shoddy workmanship. No concept of time, and communication is next to none. If they aren’t up in front of Vcat yet they will be soon. Get out whilst you still can. We have a new luxury place. It came 2 years late, badly presented with a bad attitude to boot. I can’t explain the level of disappointment that we feel. Once you have paid your money your phone calls and emails about unfinished and or sub standard work will go unanswered. Unclean. Leaking basements on completion, Tiles in common areas so badly damaged by contractors we are asking for them to be replaced. No admittance of responsibility by E5. And yep you guessed it, the silent treatment. They ignore you and hope to grind you down with this ignorant behavior. This is the common and collective experience of every owner in the building by the way. Those that purchase and rent out and have subsequently had minimal access to the building are mortified by the tenants reports. Car park was like a builders yard when we moved in, all dust and debris being walked into lifts and apartments. We forced them to have it cleaned as it was like a builders yard, just found out that WE (collective) had to pay to have the smoke alarms isolated and reactivated. They might be your builder next. Lowest of the low. If you have a choice get your money out and go elsewhere.
- We have a terrible experience with element 5 building our apartments in Melbourne. They have clearly cut corners from the beginning and the list of defects, which are still ongoing are beyond belief. It is so disappointing to pay so much for such poor work. I would give a zero if it was available.
- Nothing but positive experiences and prompt feedback and actions in dealing with Element 5 on a recent project. Communication is key and this firm manages communication efficiently and professionally. Would recommend highly.
