RDS Global and RDS Big Data Solutions contracted Element26 to assist with our BlackBox technology product launch event in Derby. Having known of Element 26 for a while, their pedigree and having heard great testimonials of their work, I was keen to partner up, on what was a seminal event for our companies future. I had the pleasure of engaging Nathan and the brilliant team at Element 26 as part of a digital transformation programme at HSBC. I’d been looking for a video content company who would be able to help us produce more visually compelling videos for a variety of internal and external needs. I wanted to find a company who would help break the corporate mould, transforming the usual boring corporate video formats into something more aligned to YouTube or Instagram. We were keen to unlock the creative side of our bankers and senior management and knew this wasn’t an easy task. Nathan and his very talented team, tailored a programme of 3 workshops for our participants where they learnt how to write a script, storyboard a video, shoot scenes using different camera angels and edit the finished article. Amazingly, they all managed to shoot and edit a short, professional looking video using just their phones. Everyone agreed it was probably the best and most useful training they had ever attended, giving the team immediate skills they could use day to day. The business benefits for the bank were obvious, giving everyone the opportunity to create video content and share ideas, reducing the need for expensive agency fees for small pieces of video content and much more.. We first made contact with Element 26 in January 2018. We needed to find a video production company who could help us with a post-production project involving a series of video episodes. But it soon became clear that here was a company who not only took a real interest in our business, but one who could offer so much more. And so when the time came in December 2018 to produce a full production video, we reached out to Nathan Haines and let him guide us through the process.
