UX is at the heart of everything we do. Our expert team use a variety of R&I techniques to provide actionable insight, which is then used to design and develop websites, mobile apps, intranets, portals and bespoke web applications.

Our flexible UX methodology is tailored to meet different project objectives and budgets. We start with a Discovery workshop to identify potential issues, opportunities and gaps in knowledge. This helps define the full scope of the project to ensure clear objectives and enable accurate costs and timescale.

Average is better than “below average”, but not “good”, at least not on TechBehemoths. DotLabel is one of those companies that might deliver some projects, but are not convincing enough. For this reason, their profile strength is average. Advice: get in touch with DotLabel if you have a great intuition. Otherwise, go the extra mile and find a slightly better ranking company. We have 5,000 strong and excellent ones from a total of 43,000+.

    General

How DotLabel compares to other companies based on profile strength?

See how DotLabel is positioned among 6121 companies from United Kingdom based on profile strength. An average rate is fine, but could definitely be better for a bit more credibility.

    Pricing

How much does DotLabel charge for their services compared to other companies in United Kingdom and Basingstoke?

DotLabel is one of those companies that decided to not disclose their pricing. We do not know the exact reason, but we assume their price range can be pretty flexible, depending on each project and client, that is why. Rise this topic once you will discuss it with them.

    Services

How many services does DotLabel provide compared to other companies?

DotLabel covers 4 services in their current region or area. This means that the company offers a limited range of services compared to their competitors. This is not necessarily a bad thing. It can be that the company is rather focused on a few things and does it well, instead of spreading too much.

    Year

    When was DotLabel founded?

DotLabel was founded in 2006. According to TechBehemoths data, 89 companies were founded in United Kingdom in that year. Compared to other companies, DotLabel is veteran in the market. What can be added here? A very experienced company, which most of the time works with bigger clients or long-term projects. If you are one of these - don't think twice and contact them.

Matt, Kevin and the Dot Label team are highly innovative and experienced - with the highest levels of digital and development expertise. They are a pleasure to work with - we've partnered as a creative agency on several projects and each time we've come away having learnt some more and enjoyed the process along the way. Long may it continue!

I have been working with DotLabel for over 3 years now and they have been fantastic. The team care deeply both about the sites they develop and deliver and the customers they look after.

Unfortunately, our experience of Dotlabel has been a complete disaster. I don't usually go out of my way to leave negative reviews, but in this case I have to make an exception due to the overwhelming negative effect this has had on our business, and will continue to have until we build a completely new website, again. Not sure quite where to begin as too much has gone wrong, however the choice of platform they tried to build our ecommerce website on is probably the most significant error. Anyone heard of Symfony? End result is that the £35k we spent with Dotlabel was a drop in the ocean compared to the extra £70k it took to have the site fixed by other developers, who were amazed at the level of incompetence and the poor choices and decisions made by Dotlabel, some of which were truly laughable. Eventually, a 3 month project took 1 year to complete and we're still finding issues to this day. If we'd known how bad their work was, we would have buried it rather than try to fix it, and started a new website from scratch, on a well respected and proven platform. My advice in selecting a web development company would be to not select a company who sees your project as a challenge, or a company who are happy to take your project on because they are going through a quiet patch. Meet them in person first, on their premises, not some fancy club in Central London. Ignore awards, judging by Dotlabel, they are worthless. If the company has less than 15 members of staff, ask yourself what would happen if your project hit a snag, or if they under budgeted for the work, or if they suddenly got busy with a more lucrative or prestigious project? Do they have enough human resources to assign to your project even when they get busier? What happens if the lead developer assigned to your project leaves the company? What recourse do you have if any? What guarantee do they offer? The most important thing to remember is that if the projects start going wrong and you fall out with the web developers, you will be left holding the baby, and the likelihood of finding other companies willing to patch up an already compromised job will be a challenge...
