- Appalling company. When our website needed upgrading, we could have used any number of web design companies but chose to keep our business local. Big mistake. We were told that it would take around four months to complete our new site but with their incredibly slow work and poor communication (numerous ignored emails, lack of response to phone messages etc) this ended up taking over a year. Also, they continually added to the cost, so it ended up costing almost twice as much as they had quoted. To cap it all, when our site was 90% complete, we received notification that Creare had gone into administration, leaving us high and dry and without a website! This meant that we had to use the services of an independent web designer to complete their work, costing even more money. Incredibly, they then reappeared the other side of town operating under the same name. Do not waste your valuable time and money with this company – they are truly the worst company we have ever dealt with in our 45 years in business. If you want a true picture of other people’s dissatisfaction with Creare, go to the Yelp website and search for reviews there. Make sure you click on ‘reviews that are not currently recommended’ link. Shocking reading. Avoid my advice at your peril.
- I first called Creare when our previous web design company vanished, leaving our website in a total mess. I called Creare and they agreed to take on a complex, messy job and fix the website which a lot of companies wouldn't do at the time. The work they did was excellent and the quality of service was brilliant. Chris was always very happy to help and with his experience, we developed new ideas to take the website forward and create a great user experience. Will continue to use them for our marketing in the future.
