Conimex IT started in a completely different industry. The company was founded in 1992 as Conimex Trade, working in international textile trading and organic fruit production, including HACCP certified processing. In 2000, Zoran Stankovic took over as Managing Director, and by 2018 the business had fully shifted its focus to software development. The name changed to Conimex IT to match, but the same legal entity and the same discipline around process and quality carried over from the original trading business.

Today the team builds custom software in Laravel, React and React Native, and is recognized as an official Laravel Community Partner. Clients tend to be founders and engineering leaders running scaleups and mid sized companies in ecommerce, ERP and logistics, IoT, and healthtech, who need software built by people that understand both the technical side and the operational reality of running a business.

Recent work includes taking a parking spot rental app from idea to a live production platform, building a tailor made ERP system for a trading company, restructuring an ecommerce platform so it could serve one hundred times more customers on the same infrastructure, and rolling out an AI based customer support automation that cut support costs significantly. The team also holds ERPNext certifications, which is uncommon among Laravel focused shops and useful for clients evaluating ERP or logistics platforms.

Beyond development, Conimex IT builds AI tools and automations that remove repetitive manual work from existing business processes, something the founder's own background running a trading and logistics business made obvious was needed long before it became a common request.

The team works mainly with English speaking clients across Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, the US, Canada and Australia, and takes on projects ranging from short, clearly scoped builds to long running retained partnerships.
