Bakhtyar Karim has been providing translation and interpretation for the last 10 years to the World Bank and UNDP in Iraq and KRI. He is very well-known translator/interpreter, among the KRG institutions and UN agencies, for quality, consistency and speed. Bakhtar Karim as a UK Law graduate, and a certified and licensed legal translator, translated important regional and national laws and regulations from Kurdish and Arabic into English; in addition, he translated many international legal documents from English into Kurdish.
cHc provides language services to important clients such as World Bank, UNDP, UNAMI, UNHABITAT, CNN Academy, Intenational Coalition of Sites of Conscience, GIZ, forumZFD, KRG Council of Ministers, KRI Parliament, Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Justice and many other international and local organizations. We also serve our clients internationally, for example in 2022 we provided language services on two different occasions to UNODC in Vianna and Paris on Drafting Migrant Smuggling Laws in Iraq and KRI.
cHc currently provides interpretation, translation conference management services to the World Bank in relation to various ongoing projects including, Service Delivery Indicators (SDI), Mashreq Gender Facility (MGF), Iraq Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) and Cash Transfer Program (CTP), Business Ready (replacing Doing Business) and Women, Business and the Law (WBL).
cHc provides all the translation, interpretation and conference management of The KRI High Council for Women and Development (HCWD), which is the leading KRI institution working on women and development issues, with special focus on women refugee, IDPs and survivors of ISIS war.
In May 2023 our company signed the Frame Agreement (FA/UNHCR/MENA/2023/050) with the UNHCR to provide translation and proofreading/editing in Kurdish-English-Kurdish and Kurdish-Arabic- Kurdish.
