CodigoDelSur is a software development company based in Montevideo, Uruguay, building web and mobile products since 2007 for companies in the United States and around the world.

We work in three ways. IT staff augmentation, where our engineers join your existing team and work inside your process. Dedicated teams that own a product or a workstream end to end. And full product development, taking an idea from discovery through design, engineering and launch.

What makes the engagement work is that we are not only engineers. Every role needed to ship a product lives in house: product discovery, UI/UX design, mobile and web engineering, machine learning and QA. Our deepest track record is in drones and geospatial, education and healthcare, and we have shipped applications featured at the top of the App Store. In 2021 the lifestyle app Outfitted won a Vega Digital Centauri Award.

Our team of 140 works in North American time zones, so standups happen at your hour and not overnight, and decisions land the same day instead of the next one. Rates range from $50 to $99 per hour depending on role and seniority, and engagements start at $10,000, which covers one engineer for one month.
