Our experience was worse than terrible. In short, we spent tens of thousands of dollars for a website that never worked and was never delivered. Their proposal and our agreement stated it would take them 3 to 6 months, but when milestones arrived, nothing was ever close to being right. Employees came and went, blame was spewed everywhere, constantly back to the drawing board. For 2 and half years we pleaded for updates, delivery, leadership and competence. We had so much money tied up and it was so important to us, we forgave, and forgave and forgave. After 2 and half years, we realized they simply did not have the competence to delivery what they promised. They acted like it would be easy right to the end. Their confidence in themselves was attractive at first, but just plain weird by the end. They just didn't know what they didn't know. We ended up having to walk away and found another company that had us up and running and launched publicly in 3 months. It was a night and day experience. Turns out, it was easy, for real programmers. Important note, codepxl offered no refund. Even though they clearly over-sold their abilities and never delivered anything resembling a tested, finished product, not a dime was returned. They just kept asking for more time, more money, blaming former staff, and even blaming us even though the project did not change in the slightest from day 1. They just totally blew it and didn't have the money to do what was right. Our conclusion is: If you have a simple display-only site, with no real programming or administration, just a basic marketing thing, you can probably trust these guys. There's some nice people that work there and they are likely pretty good at the basics. Probably. If you need programming of any kind, if you want your site to do something more than display pictures and text, like clients logging in and changing and saving settings, or running reports with search ranges, or importing large data, or anything requiring logic skills, running APIs, anything complex, run like hell! You've definitely come to the wrong place. - Great company. Excellent staff and management. The work they do is quite impressive
