Boom Software builds mobile and web applications for founders and business owners who know exactly what problem they want to solve, but do not have a technical team to solve it with.

We work across the full lifecycle. Most of our clients come to us with an idea, a rough set of requirements, or a prototype built in a no-code tool, and need a partner who can take it from there: shaping the product strategy, designing the experience, building it properly, getting it into the app stores, and supporting it once real users are on it. That means our clients are not left coordinating a separate strategist, designer, development shop and support provider, which is where most first builds go wrong.

Our work spans native iOS and Android, cross-platform builds, progressive web apps, and the backend infrastructure and integrations behind them. We have delivered products in healthcare, professional services, property and finance, alongside internal tools that replace the spreadsheets and manual processes a growing business eventually outgrows.

We are based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and work with clients across the UK. That means overlapping working hours, conversations without a language or time-zone gap, and UK contract and data-protection norms as standard. For non-technical founders in particular, being able to pick up the phone and get a plain-English answer about why something is taking longer than expected is worth more than a lower day rate.

On payment, the source code and intellectual property are yours in full, with no ongoing licence back to us. We use AI in delivery where it genuinely speeds up boilerplate and testing, and keep human review on the parts where it is not yet safe to hand over.
