Most agencies use cheaper personnel to earn a better spread. Usually, that means you're working with some youngsters and projects have a great chance of escalation and delays etc. I had the exact same problem and thus started the AXPRI.
AXPRI is working ONLY with super-experienced professionals that, well, just do the work in a good way!

We have some partners behaving more like investors only while most are really Product Managers for their own products. In the latter case, we are still involved in the product management process as advisors drawing from extensive experience. We don't pretend that every new product is a success and neither should you. and that brings me to:

We become friends, a partner in crime. We spend enormous efforts to mitigate risk or escalation. It just never happens. People are senior with "a lot of matches played". You bring the "WHAT" we get the "HOW".

We are not the cheapest agency here - as we work with top people. We are certainly not an expensive agency either - we just earn a smaller spread and are OK with that.
