When a server, cluster or network misbehaves at 2 a.m., Able Admins is the team you call. We are a small senior operations practice based in Houston, Texas, and since 2008 we have looked after production systems for companies of many sizes.
Our engineers work hands-on with Linux and Windows servers, AWS accounts, Kubernetes clusters, mail platforms and VoIP. We also design and run networks, from switching to BGP, so the whole path from user to application gets looked at by people who have run it before.
There are two common ways clients work with us. After-hours rescue: you reach a senior engineer any hour, we get on the incident right away and stay with it until things are stable. Monthly support: a set block of hours each month for patching, monitoring, upgrades, cloud cost tidy-ups and the projects that never make it to the top of your own team's list. We use automation and AI-assisted monitoring where it helps, and senior engineers do the work.
In the Houston area we come on-site, including network and data center fit-outs inside existing buildings. Everywhere else we work remotely across the US.
