My experience with Patrick at 73Creativ was very disappointing. I knew exactly what I wanted for the webpage. I gave Patrick simple instructions and I even hand drew the entire webpage with all of the text lines. All he had to do was follow the instructions. Unfortunately, this didn’t go well. I think that Patrick was offended every time I gave him directions or made suggestions. One of the most disappointing aspects of this experience was in the area of punctuality. We agreed on a completion date of 6 weeks. At week 6 the webpage wasn’t close to completion. Additional weeks rolled by with very slow progress. Whenever I inquired as to where he was I would get petulant responses and excuses that were always “beyond his control”. The webpage was finally done 10 weeks after the scheduled completion date. There were still basic webpage functions that needed fixing. They always required “deep research” with further delays and more attitude.

At the end, I gave Patrick a $500 bonus because I feared that he might not provide me with the ongoing support and I didn’t have a backup plan. And my fears were warranted. When I had questions or small tasks for Patrick he would act surly and irritated. I always felt like I was walking on eggshells every time I communicated with him. One day, near the end of the project, Patrick asked me to give him a 5-Star review on Google. He told me that “these reviews decide whether my kids get fed or not”. I was astonished that Patrick could be so clueless regarding the substandard quality of service that he had provided me with. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience for me. I would not recommend this webmaster to anyone. I think that Patricks early intentions were good, however, his skill set was not up to par and his ego got in his way.
