Houston is the home of NASA’s human space program and has a well-developed engineering infrastructure, as well as a huge number of tech professionals specialized in providing high-end IT products and services.

In the first half of 2025, startups in Houston received more than $1 billion in venture capital, nearly doubling the amount from the first half of 2024.
